I’m Native American, I was thinking if we go fishing on the Rez (Leech lake, Red Lake, Mille Lacs) we could do a catch and cook incorporating Native American staple foods. After having days like that on Leech Lake, I asked Brad Hawthorne on Mill Lacs about it. He told me, "The secret to fishing Leech Lake is to fish somewhere else." Maybe its all the prey or rusty crayfish available, but its never been a numbers lake for me. However, most every fish I do get, is usually always quality including a 16" perch.

I loved the "Secret" steak stash, now I know where to look LOL

How to cook a steak….very low and slow for 15 minutes. Remove steak from heat. Set aside. Then you wanna turn the heat as high as it can go with butter, garlic, rosemary. Once its super hot add the steak and cook for 1 minute on each side while spooning the butter like Murda did here. The first part is to cook the steak internally to a rare - mid rare. The second cooking part is to create a nice crust on the exterior while finishing the cook off. Let the steak sit for 2-5 minutes before cutting in order to retain the juices. Good video bro.

Ok I live in Georgia so I have no idea about iced over lakes. But they keep saying permanent. does the house stay there after it thaws? how does that work... sorry for the dumb question

Permanent means it just sits there for the season as opposed to you tow it out there and set up each time you want to fish. There’s a date by which you have to get them off the lake before the ice breaks up. The date is in March and depends on where in the state you are located (earlier in the southern part, later up north).
