I loved stovies when I lived in Scotland, but Dundee stovies and Fraserburgh stovies were very different creatures, so lentil stovies are a pleasing addition to the repertoire :-)

Great camera work there, Jo. I have to say I have put red lentils on my shopping list and will give this a go. And maybe a touch of chilli powder may be a good idea. Always is. Thanks for this, both of you. Read the books (of course) so now time for the meal. Tea one day next week is sorted.
