Great video! This reminds me of what I do, I took 5 magnetrons out of a microwave and mounted it on a reactor to turn plastic into fuel.

Oh man that's so amazing, that robot worked so well shesh, and that toast actually looked like toast not just a square of carbon. Great work man super clean! Just need coffee to go with it.....

I dunno Finlay, your toast had a nice glaze of carbolyzed oil on it. Like a nice laqure of molasses ... but like... carcinogenic. Allthough, Cranktown's deposition of fine electrode particles was probably a bit fancier... Like gold flakes in food at those expensive restaurants, except you have a metalic taste in your mouth for a week, and a higher risk of alzheimers.

The long metal rods poking through the hole could act as an antenna. probably not enough power to be dangerous for humans, but could fry your electronics

I thought you had a microwave video. Shake The Future youtube channel just uploaded an awesome and detailed video to corrupt me and whomever into casting metals using a microwave kiln that's DIY, including the crucibles. Even has a short or video on using a small amount of iron for a mario head, I forget which. Worth checking out if you're still casting metals I'm guessing, since is definitely novel and seems quick like once you have the setup. Have a good one!

Why didn't you use the little motor on the bottom of the microwave and just put multiple plasma jars and let the tray rotate the plasma jars in different positions under the toast? Seems way easier to me. Or put the toast on the rotating tray above several jars around the circle??? I'm just curious if this would be a better option?

So sorry, I promise that after this comment for that sweet engagement metric I'll finish the video and leave it playing on repeat a few more times while I go poo or feed the chickens or something. WT actual F is defective in you that you didn't make your apparatus out of borosilicate like a (socially-awkward, but otherwise) normal hobbyist with special interest in energetic materials, highish voltage discharges and radio-vision eyeballs? TL;DR version: Backhanded insults and feeding the algorithm. Please carry-on and continue the avoidance of unintentional self forever-sleep/loss of vision. Thank you.
