When I need to but haven’t this year except to donate food. Currently still been doing a kitchen clean out since I’m moving in December. I try to donate things at least a month before expiration date that I know I’m not going to use anytime soon. But I’m so thankful it being there in my times of need. It helped me so much when I wasn’t an empty nester & when my finances changed so dramatically. Bless them & you & your family so much.

I grind the thawed pork patties in the food processor to make pre cooked hamburger meat. I use it for tacos, chili, etc .

I wasn't sure what to do with the cooked pork patties either and ended up quartering them and dropping them in the food processor. I used the 'ground' meat in tacos with appropriate seasonings.

One of the recipes I am famous for is my red white and blue salad.. which is red potatoes, blue cheese dressing. Sour cream and bacon and I use green onions for color.. simple but delicious and was served at my oldest daughter wedding (I also served my tortellini kebabs)..

My daughter drives her friend to a local food pantry. She gets what they are tossing at the end: carrots, pasta, and oatmeal. We support 4 local food pantries. My daughter is disabled and we're seniors. Tina, Al's wife

That's awesome! You wouldn't believe how many people think there isn't any food left at food banks. Lots still has to get thrown out in the end, not enough people come.

If you like bbq sauce cook up the pork patties cover in sauce put on bun with whatever toppings you’d like(I like sliced onions)

A little bleu cheese dressing is delicious on a baked potato. Plums are much more flavorful when ripened and soft. Where did you purchase those cute freezer silicone (?) freezer containers? Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰

The pork patties have a texture like a cheap veal patties. We have gotten those at our food bank too. We ate them (they fed us a meal or two) but I would never buy them.
