I've been known to go back in!! Heck, I've even loaded up my cart & just did multiple transactions so I don't have to go back in! A few years ago, Kleenex tissues were on sale but had limits, so I loaded up my cart with the size we use & did multiple transactions & even had my sister get some!! I haven't had to buy tissues in over 2 years!!

There’s no apologies for saving money and getting a few more. I just have a pet peeve with couponers clearing shelves when there’s no limits and they buy like 30-40 of something so that’s why I don’t mind limits. I stocked up on 99 cent sugar and flour at my local supermarket last week. Waiting now for your baking videos.

You can get a little head start on your cookie baking, if you're gonna be making tons of them, by making the dough and making them into balls then freezing them. They will last a couple months in the freezer and if you vacuum seal them they will last a lot longer than that. I always have frozen cookie dough in the freezer. Thats how I got to be "The best Nana ever" lol. Gotta love them grandbabies.

I miss Super1. We moved from Kalispell, Mt to Idaho. I remember when they would have pumpkins super cheap but there was a limit. I have 6 kids so we would have to go in an extra time to get all the kid’s pumpkins. Don’t worry about going in again, it’s absolutely ok! ❤

❤❤ Carolina lol make rice krispie Christmas treats... Rice krispies and marshmallow fluff and you stick lollipop or popsicle sticks in them and then set them... You can make them into holiday shapes and you dip then in green colored chocolate etc and decorate

Family favorite Christmas cookie: Rolled cutout cookies using my grandma's "secret" recipe (uses honey) topped with a homemade buttercream frosting. These are always better on the second day when the flavors have had time to meld together. Each of my adult children have called and asked for the recipe on their first Christmas season away from home!

Rice krispy treats are easy and addictive. I make strawberry, caramel, and chocolate but my favorite is the peanut butter with chocolate. So yum.

Mexican wedding cakes and shortbread are my favorites as far as Christmas cookies. The kids and grandkids all want their peanut butter blossoms. My dad’s favorites used to be raised filled as well as the date pinwheels. We used to do double batches of dozens of types too when the kids were younger and about 6 types of candy.

Alton Brown's sugar cookie recipe is the must make dessert for my kiddos. Taste amazing and the kids love having all the Christmas shapes :-). Rolling them out in powdered sugar instead of flower that a lot of recipes call for...game changer lol

If I do holiday baking, I always include Canadian Oatmeal Shortbread, Russian Teacakes/Mexican Wedding Cakes, Molasses Crinkles, Chocolate Mint Crinkles, and Snickerdoodles for my holiday baking. They are cookies my mom made when I was growing up and my dad loved that my sister and I would always include them in our holiday baking. Then if I'm up to it I add something fruit like Poppyseed Jam Thumbprints or Raspberry Almond Thumbprints or try something new. I do the same thing with a nut focused cookie and try to find something citrus flavored. I don't have an established favorite for those flavor profiles. I make white chocolate pistachio fudge and it's the only candy I do. I also make cinnamon rolls for Christmas Day brunch. That was a great baking supply sale, and I too would have made a second trip to stock up.

Don’t apologize for going back in for a deal… we bake at Christmas and gift everything we bake and my handyman gets walnuts from the mission (they didn’t have anything else to choose from) so every week he brought us 10 lbs of walnuts and we have been freezing them so we have almost 100lbs of walnuts and our krogers had a butter sale so we started buying and now have about 80lbs of butter again we do make about 25 kinds of cookies and make trays and gift them to family and friends so all the butter and nuts will be put to use, it’s pretty sad that we have to apologize so nobody attacks us for saving money There was cases and cases of butter and the guy with the walnuts said they couldn’t even give them away Just sad
