I WAS SO CONFUSED. 😂😂 Also, despite being a northern girl at heart, after living in the south for so long sweet tea runs through my veins. Living back in the north again means if I accidentally ask for sweet tea at any restaurant other than McDonald's or a chain that started in the south, I get looked at like I've lost my mind. 😂 sweet tea doesn't exist up here and people are really confused why you'd even drink it. Sometimes they'll begrudgingly bring you sugar packets to the table, but I'm pretty sure they go back in the kitchen to gossip. It's so funny!

I was diagnosed with CP (Cerebral palsy) and Hydrocephalus while I was young. I am now almost 16.. (I’ll be 16 in two months) but Because of this I have a shunt in my head to constantly keep draining the fluid from my brain. It effects the left side of my brain, which means it also effects my left side of my body...my CP case isn’t as bad as others. My CP only effects my balance, coordination, and strength in my muscles. I am mostly independent, but because of my disability I’ve faced my challenges. I can’t do very simple tasks for myself (ex: Put my hair up). My mom has done it since I can remember. I try to be 100% independent but sometimes I just can’t. I found your channel a few months ago, I don’t remember how.. I think I was a recommendation on YT. but, I love watching you... I love seeing the things you do on a daily basis, I have myself a Judd. I’ve been in a relationship with my boyfriend for almost 6 months.. it’s an LDR relationship for now but through everything he knows about me he stays with me and tells me he doesn’t care about the issues I have... he’s willing to help me if I need it in the future. What I’m trying to say, is you inspire me so much and never ever think your not as equal as everyone else. Just because you have feeding tubes, or require a service dog to help you DOES not mean you are not like everyone else Jackie❤️❤️❤️❤️

SavageSavvy 💪 Keep moving forward! I have SB ( Spina Bifida) I'm 37 and have hydrocephalus. Both sides i have had shunts, almost 100% independent but live at home. I also am in an LDR but its kind of hush hush for now, Hes so far away and we can only chat via texting. He's wonderful about it but i feel awful about it.

Thank you for the video! I just got diagnosed with Gastroparesis and Gastritis a few days ago. My GI specialist said that it was caused by my Sjögrens. I am extremely nauseated and bloated all the time and it hurts to eat or drink anything. Making dinner can be difficult for me because when you feel like you have to throw up, the last thing that you want to do is make food!! We order grocery pick up at Giant Eagle as I have similar conditions to you such as POTS. I am also thinking about creating a KZbin channel. Thank you for being such an inspiration :)

It's so sweet how excited you got about grocery home delivery! It's been common-place here in the UK for quite a few years (though delivery slots are hard to come by this time of year with people getting their Christmas groceries). I can imagine that it's going to make your life a lot simpler, and you can conserve your energy for more fun with Judd & Harlow :)

I grew up in Ohio, and I can tell you that we do have sweet tea there, it's just not as abundant or popular as it is in the states down south haha. I agree with you though, that when they say "we have unsweet and can give you sugar", it's not the same!!! Hahaha
@alliewilson1907
@alliewilson1907 6 жыл бұрын
I think its such a weird concept for people in that most places have unsweet with sugar packets, but when we go down there you can't get unsweet tea! Everyone looks at you like you're crazy! And then in the UK iced tea is a foreign concept. I found it a few times in bottles but a lot of people in the UK don't even know we drink tea cold.

I get it in a way. I get asked why I like to go to movies if I am legally blind? It is a reasonable question for sure. The long answer is that over time of adjusting to this visual impairment I have started to utilize and appreciate my other senses more. I saw La La Land last year and thanks to the use of primary colors, I saw a few things in the way of movement. What I did see (tunneled and blurry) was breath taking. The music was massively soul reaching. And for the quick edits there was audio description available in the theatre for me and I could keep up with the story. So yes the experience is totally different now than when I could see much better. But it is not worse of one at all. It actually is better in some ways because I appreciate the tiny amount I can see ... just like you appreciate the amount that you can eat. I mean of course I would like to see better. And you would like your tummy to work better I am sure .. but different is not always bad 🤗

Unsweet > sweet tea! I always joke that St. Louis is just enough over the mason dixon line to not be "the south". I lived in southern Missouri for a while and everyone there drinks sweet tea but "up north" near St. Louis it is about 50/50. My mother and I love unsweet and my sister only drinks sweet. Glad you were able to make the best of your day!!

I’m from Wisconsin and I’m sure we have sweet tea somewhere but I’ve never seen anyone from here drink it. I have offered unsweetened tea with sugar to someone before. I didn’t know there was a difference.

Lol I know. I cook a lot so people tend to over eat from my cooking. I love cooking but my grandfather hates trying new food.

Im from CA but until I moved to South Carolina I never had sweet tea. I know it exists, but its not very popular. You cant get it from a restaurant or anything, you have to go out and buy it from somewhere. Most people I know think its gross and too sweet.

Puppy Lover 61 iced tea is cold tea without sugar. Sweet tea is cold tea with sugar. Good old Southern sweet tea has a lot of sugar. If you can’t cut it with a knife, it ain’t sweet tea.
