I haven’t seen an alcohol stove in use before. Very cool. Also impressed

I really enjoyed this video. Beautiful location & relaxed style. I used a cheap alcohol stove for a while but it wasted & fell apart in my hands after about 30 uses. Since then I traded up to Trangia & have had at least three years out of it already, always worth the extra expense to buy quality gear. I just use my stove with a crusader mug & don't bother carrying all the extra pots etc.

Thank you so much!. Yep I'll be investing in the Tangia next. I really want to add it to my collection.

🌹Thank you for a super relaxing video. 👍 I'm over here because of your very talented and genuinely interesting young son, Dalton. I can clearly see where he gets his good looks from and you can be so proud of him. However, as a Mom and Granny I do have to say that his Mom and your wife must have also had something to do with those "good looking" genes!!!!!!!!🤣🤣 As you say at the end here, I'm one of those people who cannot go camping so now I'll be able to enjoy the outdoors, the nature and especially the beautiful, tranquil sounds by simply adding you to my "Favorites List of Videos to Watch". I look forward to going on this relaxing journey with you in the future. Thank you so much for deciding to do these videos and for sharing them with us out here!🌹

Thanks for answering my gold question. I enjoy your content, I haven't heard of the Heat product since I left South Dakota in 1993 no need for heat in Arizona. Lunch looked great next time try Vietnamese noodle and call it Pho.

First visit to.your channel. Listening to your "checklist" as your walking really makes sense!! Many seem to just be "winging it" when they go out. You hear ...oh..i forgot this or that...one made a fire..unpacked camp and oh #$% i forgot my food..and water but ive got beer.... :( think im subscribing to you. Beautiful forest!!!! I love my alcohol stoves...i use DENATURED ALCOHOL..SUNNYSIDE BRAND....bought at walmart..paint dept. Not paint thinner etc.

Thank You! Sometimes I over prepare. But still I'd rather my pack be a little heavy and know I have everything I need.

Hi Mark, it's good to see all that nature. How long does the alcohol last in the cooker? Is it just enough for one meal or more? Also, could you let me know if you brought your camera? Picturesque views you got there. Next time, it would be nice to convince your wife to come along with you. It would be nice to see you two interact with one another. Thanks for sharing. Cheers! Joe

Yes, it lasts long enough to cook an average meal. Sony A7IV is the camera I use. I'll speak with her about lol.

The yellow heat does not burn as hot as denatured alcohol. Also keep in mind that there is other stuff in the heat that is not in the alcohol. I have tried both. The other thing is that yes they do pretty well in colder weather just keep in mind that you will have to allow the burner to burn a little longer for it to properly blume before you start cooking. You will be able to tell when it is ready because the flames will be coming out through the holes at the top of the stove rather than just from the fuel well. It will blume quicker if you warm the brass in your hands before you light it.
