Lots of fond memories climbing on Stanage Edge, mostly at the popular end.

Get the fuel canister insulating cover, helps fuel burn more efficiently in cold weather.

I’ve done the old hand warmer in a sock trick before now, I’m going to get one of those upside down remote canister set ups

Get a compact cutlery set…. A fork spoon duo (one on each side) with a small camping compact knife set.

Aye I do have a set but I didn’t bring it at the time so I just took it out of the van 🤣

Rule No1 In case of death , leave word that all your gear is worth more than you said 😂😂👌 I know Santa is bringing me that exact kit ! Looks the business. Great video lad , top notch. Atb Tony , Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪

🤣 yeah I’ve definitely downplayed the ‘cost’ of such important gear! Worth the money though great to be able to have a proper meal out in the wilderness 😂 Thanks for the view buddy 👍

Nice video again Leo. I struggle with the cost of a Jetboil to be honest, though I do like the idea of a rapid boil. I have recently got a cheap "knock-off" version from Planet X which was the Jobsworth X2 until they were recalled a year or so ago - so hoping this new version is ok! For £20 in the sale thought it was worth a punt. Not wild camped in the Peak District yet, has to be on my list, you all make it look so good. ATB Roger

Yes there isn’t £100 worth of difference I must admit, but I can’t help myself sometimes 🤣 I have to say though it was ridiculously quiet. The Peak District is a great place to hike and wild camp, nice and easy going 👍

Hi, on your pot attachment, do those four parts that support the pot flip out to help stabilize the skillet? Or are they static?
@LeoManAndMountain Жыл бұрын
To be honest I can’t remember and I’m far from home at the minute, but as far as I remember they don’t move

Hello there, I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but yes, each leg of the pan stand pivots outward (to stabilize the pan) and then you will see slits that will sit on top of the stove rim raising it higher above the flame. The pan stand is supposed to sit on top of the rim of the stove, and not in it.

@e.nguyen969 yeah I noticed that about 2 months ago and called myself all sorts of names 🤣

You pack too much, you don’t need a whole thing of salt pepper and oil, bring what ya need, put the salt you need in a smaller container, same with pepper and oil. All that weight adds up.
@LeoManAndMountain11 күн бұрын
I know but I’ve never really cared about saving weight too much, if I was going up somewhere a bit more difficult then I would just switch to a dehydrated meal, thanks for watching 👍
