Can u throw some more light on the dos and don't s please ? I have read that after putting the fondant decorations on the whipped cream, it shouldn't be put back in the fridge as the humidity will make the fondant sweat and bleed horribly. And if the cake is not refrigerated then the whipped cream will start melting . please suggest what to do then.

Thanks,that is my big problem..melting off after applying on a freshly covered whipped cream cake,do cutouts need to be pre made and left to harden before applying or can i apply fresh cut fondant as long as the cake has been refrigerated?

I have put whipped cream in middle of cake chilled it took it out covered with buttercream covered all over with fondant and now in fridge overnight... I hope it is ok. oh yes I have sealed it in a plastic bag ....

I am hoping to be able to add fondant flowers that have dried to a buttercream cake for a wedding. I am worried the flowers will pick up the moisture from the buttercream and flop. Will this be an issue? If so how many hours will the fondant flowers hold their shape when applied to buttercream icing? Please help! I don’t want my sons wedding cake to be a flop?

I did the same as u instructed.. but when I decorated my cake with fondant on whipped cream, after 30 min it started melting. I didn’t put the cake back in refrigerator after putting fondant on.What will be the reason???
