Some people don’t have a grandmother to teach them all of this… You are truly a blessing! Everybody doesn’t know to take the strings off celery, how to easily peel eggs- to even wear an apron when they cook!

I'm making potato salad today with red potatoes, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, eggs, celery, green onions, salt and celery seed. There will never be any Russet potatoes or pickle relish in my potato salad. This is the way my Mama taught me to make it and it is delish. I'll be having some country ribs baked beans and cornbread to go with it.

Love seeing peoples ways of doing things. My grandma makes the best potato salad. One of her many well know dishes. She adds onions, yellow or orange bell pepper, celery seed and mustard seed. So yummy! Love watching your videos. I can have a ruff day and after watching you I just get a sense of calm!

My mother made celery and cream cheese when I was growing up. She sprinkled a little paprika on it - no pecans. I loved to eat that. Currently, I put the Philadelphia Onion and Chive cream cheese on my celery and it is delicious. Nothing else. My potato salad is similar but I add onion to mine and use dill pickles and a little bit of the juice. Love potato salad too.

Stuffed celery is a must for our family at any get together. My mother in law added some crushed pineapple with a little juice and chopped pecans to the stuffing. Then she topped them with pecans on top. It’s tasty and beautiful. We never have any leftovers. Love your recipes. God Bless you. ❤ Phyllis in St Augustine

I like to put a good pepper jelly on top of the the cream cheese as well. Raisins are good too! Your pecans looked oh so good! Can’t wait to try that too. I love seeing n watching n listening to you! My dads family was from Parish Alabama and I never knew hospitality until I experienced going to my great grandmother’s house and had the most beautiful spread of good laid out on her kitchen table all for our arrival from Oklahoma! 💞 you bring those memories back for me and I just love you and have never met you. My mama put all kinds of stuff in celery....cream cheese was one, peanut butter, pimento cheese. That pimento cheese you made the other day would have been delicious on there. My sweet Mama always did something similar to this at Thanksgiving and Christmas as well. I have carried on the tradition.. She mixed cream cheese mayo and chopped up green olives with the pimentos.. stuff the celery stalks and enjoy! It is even good the next day!

I've never put pecans on stuffed celery. i will have to try it. Pimento cheese makes a great stuffing for celery. Stuffed fresh jalapeños made with the same stuffings!! are a must for me at holidays. I always put mustard in my potato salad AND mayo!! My brother makes the BEST potato salad.

I make my potato salad with apple onion eggs then add your salt pepper,garlic powder,mustard,to your mayo mix well. Add to your potatoe,apple onion fold some chopped eggs add slice eggs on top sprinkle paprika the best salad

My mother made stuffed celery with chopped olives, chopped sweet pickle and some chopped celery for a little more crunch. A little garlic powder, salt and a dash of pepper and pickle juice mixed into the cream cheese and stuffed the celery like your momma and cut it into sections like you did.

Your potato salad looks delicious! My grandmother for Thanksgiving and Christmas took celery and stuffed it with pimento cream cheese. She didn't use any nuts, but it was yummy! 🙂♥️ My mom put onion in her potato salad. My daughter makes it similar to yours but adds a small amount of mustard and no celery.

I get my string off also and use celery,onion,,green peppers in my spaghetti sauce if you don't remove the strings u can taste them sometimes in your mouth celery ,cream cheese sticks been around. A long time,I use to entertain a lot the celery stalks and dill strips was a pretty plate the a raw vegetable plate like cukes. We love potato salad, so I always make a lot. I do add chopped green bell peppers and chopped sweet gherkins with some pickle juice added, rather than relish. Of course, celery and onions, too. I use at least six eggs as I reserve one as a garnish for the top with paprika sprinkled over. Yum!
