I made this yesterday. Soft and tasted great. I added walnuts instead of chocolate chips. I felt it needs a little more sugar than listed. maybe chocolate chips provides that sweetness, but with walnuts, 1 cup coconut sugar is the right amount. We still finished it! Keep healthy recipes coming!

Used regular APflour ran out of maple syrup added agave instead. I used a shmedium avocado that I had left over in the fridge. I used brown sugar instead of coconut. It came out like cake texture. It came out not too sweet - not bad !

Warm butter is used when well blended soft product is the desired end result. Cold butter is when you want it to stay in pieces in the end product so that when it is cooked/baked a flaky texture is the result.

When you take the little seed from the outside and it is light brown underneath, it is a good time to eat the avaccado.

I have a hard time keeping fresh avocados, so I buy them frozen in half-inch cubes. Please give me a measure of the avocado either in weight or volume (cups). Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵😷
@cookingwithcoit2 жыл бұрын
Hi Suzi- the measurement of the avocado doesn’t have to be super precise. Just add in the same amount roughly as a large avocado. That should do the trick. I hope they come out amazing!
@suzisaintjames2 жыл бұрын
@@cookingwithcoit, truthfully, I don't know how big an avocado is... I've been using frozen for so long and large is such a vague term (large is way different in my grocery than what comes in a Harry and David box!) so if someone in the community can help me out with approximate the amount, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! 💖🌞🌵😷

Made this today, not too happy. The whole thing went into the trash. There wasn’t enough sugar, I added more than listed here but still ended up tasting raw egg and avocado over anything. These are very delicate, kept falling apart, not enough structure (maybe more flour? Idk), too much egg and it didn’t cook well. They didn’t rise like cake nor were fudgy or chewy like brownie. Bad recipe and complete waste of ingredients.

I think you forgot walnuts 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 just kidding! I know you hate them! I don’t know why anyone would want to ruin that creamy texture with chopped nuts! 😝
