One thing that helped was finding new things to try and make and in case you ruin it, you’re the only one who will suffer 😅 Also had meals over video call with my family which helped a little. If you heat avocados they can turn so bitter you'll have to through it all away. I usually make brownies using sweet potato and oat flour. It's gluten free and impossible to get wrong 😋 1 and 1/2 cups of baked mash potatos 1/2Cup of almond flour or oat flour 1/2Cup of oil (it's perfect with coconut oil, but it can be any of your preference) 1/2 cup of 100% chocolate/cacao powder 1/4Cup of any sugar or syrup you like 1 egg or 1tbs of flaxseed in 3 tbs of water rested for 30 minutes 1tsp Of baking soda, pinch of salt 1tbs vanilla and pecans optional Blend everything but the pecans and baking soda. Add them and mix. Bake in an oven preheated at 170C for about 40 minutes (it should be moist) Best "healthier" brownie I've ever had 😋😋

@@chrisbrownlov1 I dont know for sure, but I think I meant cacao (which is the fruit used to make chocolate. In Brazil I've never seen cocoa tbh). What makes the biggest difference is the quality of the powder, actually. I've made perfect ones with good chocolate and one that I didnt like because I bought generic alcalin cocoa powder from a whole foods store... if you mix it in milk and it's tasty and chocolaty to drink, than I guess it's a good one 😉

It's crazy the kinds of things you can use to substitute eggs in baking. I know people who use bananas. Sometimes I'll use flaxseed+water if I forgot to buy eggs. I don't know the science behind it, but if it works it works 🤷🏻‍♀️

Honestly I didn't know this until I tried to find avocado on the scale in Spain. You have to weight and tag the fruits/vegetables on your own and give to the cashier. I was so frustrated that I couldn't find avocado under the vegetables section. So if you have avocado's and tomatoes in a salad then you can also call it a fruit salad 🤣🥗

I didn’t have cocoa powder so I made these with melted dark chocolate (vegan- and didn’t add in the extra sugar and cut down on maple syrup a bit) and they are hands down the best brownies I’ve ever had! Super moist and gooey in the middle. I have never been able to perfect brownies before, they always come out too cakey but these are perfect! And super easy to make. I’ve been finding that vegan baking makes super fudgy things since it doesn’t have eggs. Vegan banana bread is also my fav cause it just takes like blondies. I’m not vegan but have become more conscious about what I eat, so it’s been really fun to explore vegan baking and substitutes, especially when you don’t have some ingredients at home. Thanks for this recipe, this is going into my recipe book as a standard one!

Just made these and they came out deli! No avocado taste at all, light and fudgy as normal. I changed the recipe a bit tho I used dark brown sugar and reduced to 5 tbsp I used honey instead of maple syrup And I think using a very rich or unsweetened cocoa powder is better for taste Hope this helps.
