I love this dish because it's really simple to make. The first time I tried it was when I got sick from my stomach, so had to cook something light. I made nikujaga with less meat and more vegetables. It was a really pleasant flavor and sensation I got in my mounth after not eating for 2 days straight. Thanks for making delicious food and sharing it with us

You can do it! I've got what I describe as a "small, very low storage" kitchen and I can do some of these here in Outstate Minnesota where I can get Soy sauce, soba, Western ingredients and whatever I can get Amazon to deliver. The only Eastern vegetables we get are Book Choy, Napa Cabbage, and Daikon (which is just a juicy radish anyway). We rarely get fresh seafood in the grocery store. I can cook some if these things at home, so I'm sure you can too!
