How To Make Swedish Meatballs

They look very good. I always go to my grandpa's old church in NW WI and eat a lutefisk dinner with my Norskie cousins once a year. There is always Swedish meatballs, coleslaw, lefse, Norwegian Christmas cookies like sandbakels, and grout which is a buttery cinnamon pudding with cream in it. The food is secondary. The cousin hugs warm me so much. They bring back memories of us all staying in one old iron bed when we were very young. Now we are all in our mid 60s or 70s. Precious memories, how they linger!

Hi 🙂 ! My Recipe is very close to yours 😊. Sometimes Ground Beef with Ground Pork, not always. After I saute' the onion, I add a little bit of milk to the onion, then dry bread crumbs or crumbs/crumbled bread. I add a small sprinkle of Nutmeg in the sauce, I haven't ever added milk, just sour cream (I will try it) 😋. My better half luvsluvsluvs Swedish Meatballs with Egg Noodles. TYFS!! 👍👍

I always love seeing one of your videos! The way you explain everything- I mean , how can you screw it up? These look wonderful. I have a friend who loves Swedish Meatballs over a big Belgium waffle! I only had them with noodles, but mashed potatoes sounds even better- you don’t have to worry about the gravy slipping off. lol Yesterday it was 71° here and didn’t feel like cooking, so I made garlic and rosemary roasted potatoes in the air fryer (used those little yellow potatoes) & Rocky Road ice-cream and that was all! Ha ha

I watched the "Jazzy Vegetarian" the other day. I was SHOCKED no offense to vegetarians, but lady is Koo Koo. and what she calls recipe's I call concoctions I've seen that show a few times and the only reason I go there is to appreciate a great show like yours. sorry to unload but that show sucks, eating clean is great but that lady is Koo Koo.
