Doug! Found this today, and had purchased a six(6) pound bird! WORKED JUST FINE! I had to push it down a little bit but was able to form it in such a way so that all the side vents were open. Worked great! Checked temp at 54 mins(total guess) and temp was 158. Took it out to "rest" and was 167 after ten minutes. Didn't move it, just left it in the tray with no heat and closed up. Made a simple side pasta and was amazing. Thank you so much for simple instructions for those of us that just want good food made simply!

I have the same model got it in July. Just be careful the screws that connect the handle to the basket come lose and fall in the metal basket so make sure they are on tight.

I just picked up a whole chicken, going to give it a shot tonight. Picked up some rotisserie seasoning plus I have some garlic herb chicken seasoning , was going to combine both of them and go ahead and season it up and let it sit in the fridge for about 6 hours before air frying. It's a little over 5 pounds, 5.2 I do believe......was thinking about jumping the temp up a little, maybe to 370 or so and cook it for an hour, think thats a good idea or would it be better to keep at 330 degrees and just add 10-15 minutes to the cook time? Yours looked like it turned out amazing, definitely would be happy with similar results out of mine.

You could but it would take forever to cook so there is no point. Defrost the whole chicken first.
