A sweep hand would have been nice, kind of blah looking. Something like a backlight multi colored led display. Needs a little more style, the clock you had on the wall first for example.

How do you use your Alexa without saying wake word I've been trying to do that and just cannot do it I notice you never say Alexa before a command

Great idea, but a surprising number of one star reviews at Amazon. And, I have to agree with most of them. Some are down right brutal. It seems many people have a problem with the bluetooth pairing. The timer won't work if you're playing music on the Echo. It may need a firmware update. I have a cheap $18 Bulova wall clock in the kitchen and even it comes with a clear plastic window. I think I'll wait for a second generation. The Echos are small enough to put them inside a wall clock and it could be run off a 12 volt power supply. Good luck with yours and let us know how long the batteries last.

After looking at recent reviews it looks like Amazon pulled the clock for issues and apparently fixed the Bluetooth problems. Not so many 1 star reviews since February. If they just added a clear plastic face to protect the clock hands, I'd be getting one.
