10qt PowerXL Vortex Air Fryer Oven 4lb Rotisserie Chicken
*I would play with the rotisserie spit with no meat on it to get comfortable putting it on and getting it to turn!! the motor is on the left side, so get it in that side nice & good.
*make sure the bird is in the middle of the spit as best as u can, AND MAKE SURE ITS SECURE & TIGHT!
*Let marinade for at least 30min
**4lb MAX (must tie/trust bird)
375 for 45min and let rest for 15min
***In my experience with this, I wouldn't bother seasoning the cavity because you don't get much flavor from it when air frying, thats why I went crazy in the video as a test lol I barely could taste what I dumped in 🤷🏾‍♂️ so focus on the outside & try to season under the skin if you can

I am very happy with the Cosori Air Fryer. It's the perfect size for the two of us. I like the fact there's very little oil being used - that helps with cooking a bit healthier kzbin.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB for the two of us. The biggest tip is do not put parchment paper - the pre-cuts are very nice - in the basket during the pre-heat setting. You will catch it on fire. Also use Avocado Oil if you're using oil. It has a high smoke point to it. KZbin has been great with finding recipes for the Air Fryer.

Nice video. I also tried this using an almost 6lb chicken but recommend to everyone staying close to 5.5 or less. Two things I learned, 1st- the skewer has an indentation (dimple) on each side to set the screw to prevent sliding. 2nd- when placing the skewer in the oven, the book says to slightly lift the right side (with the supplied tool) so that the left side can slide into the motor, and then reversing when removing. The chicken came out so juicy and tasty that even the left overs remained that way. Thanks for making this video, I hope everyone try’s it!! Power up!

Great video. I just got mine a couple weeks ago. Had problems with rotisserie and almost sent it back. Decided to do a bit more research first (manuals sometimes miss a step). Here’s what I learned: (1) make sure you tighten the screws on the side with the dimples and (2) the side with the square end goes on the left side, push it in a bit, then enter the right side. Until next time!

Doesn't bacteria need to stay moist to stay alive? Won't any that are alive on the container surfaces die when the air dries them out? I guess it would nicer if your containers did not have dried on raw chicken juice on them.

Isn’t spanking the chicken (spank your meat) a better way to put spices on meat? If you rub it on it ends up on your hands and only in the crevasses of the meat.

look closely people, the square end of the rotisserie rod is shown in operation manual as having a round groove to set it in the round piece on right hand side of machine it will work but a square is trying to spin inside a round base. this should be corrected its obvious, look at the picture in your operation manual while looking at your rotisserie shaft ends.

You're great at reviews. Thank you! I wonder if you greased the bottom tray with lard "before" you started the rotisserie, if it would prevent the gunk from sticking? Worth a try. Be sure to really rinse off the degreaser to ensure that all chemicals are removed. Just saying. I wonder if putting aluminum foil on the bottom tray would be even more efficient for easy clean up?

The only thing I don’t like about this style of air fryer is that the door doesn’t lay flat unless I pull the machine to the edge of the counter top and all the dribbles land on the open door when I’m pulling out the trays.

Lol I got it now. I had to hod the wings together as well. I used foil to tie legs and the wings.
