I freeze in 1 cup cubes till i need. Works freat for our small household. Love your recipes. My daughter got me tgat staub pot for Christmas. Its my favorite ❤

Just made some chicken soup for my sick hubby today. Added noodles, olive oil, celery, garlic, onions, chives, carrots, 2 bay leaves, and cut okras because he loves them. Added salt, black pepper, oregano, turmeric and cayenne pepper to taste. It was hearty, delicious and helped him sleep after being up all night coughing. Mission accomplished!

Pro tip.. Don’t cook the orzo in the soup like she did if you’re going to have left overs. If you do they’ll be overcooked when you want left overs the next day. Instead cook the orzo on the side and put into your bowl as needed.

Cooking orzo plain will leave it flavour less. Take some broth from the soup and cook the orzo in that, then strain soup back into the pot reserving the orzo to add to each bowl.

Crispy chicken skin is underrated (Soup looks great too)
@Eidann639 ай бұрын
So true. It’s always about “dry packaged” pig skin - which I can’t choke down - but hot golden crackly crispy skin from fried or baked chicken .. yum!! You don’t need breading on that.
