The Fante influence on the coast of West Africa and Angola is unmatched. Fantes are brave, daring and adventurous. We actually spread the fishing culture to many places with the best fishing practices creating economies in several West African nations.

A special story near and dear to me. Thank you Sindaco for sharing. I'm a Gambian who lived in Brufut and attended Brufut Primary school up to Primary 3. One of my best friends Kofi lived in Ghana Town just a km or so from the school. He used to invite me to his home on some weekends and I would have him at ours on other weekends. We were very young then. I'm excited to hear that your guide has almost completed a book on the history of Ghana Town, is it possible to get his contact from you? I believe there's an opportunity to work with him because I'm an author myself, but a civil engineer. Haruna Darbo Thanks in advance.😊
