Well done on your perseverance! I had a plumber install my table top dishwasher and never had to put that item on my tap ever so none of that screwing anything to my tap, I just plugged in and it worked, it must be all set up behind my dishwasher so no need for the annoying tap things coming off. If you don’t have the space for a full dishwasher and dislike washing dishes as I do then you will adore these sizes of dishwasher, great for one person or max two. Love mine, on my second one and wouldn’t be without it, also being on worktop you don’t have to bend down to load and unload, another plus.

i just got the 8 place baridi dishwasher. it is similar to yours. i tried a screw in tap adapter and it just kept leaking everywhere so i decided to plumb it in like the washing machine. i had to cut a hole in the worktop but it works great now with no leaks. it is also looks nicer than havig pipes all over the place.It is my first ever dishwasher and my emotions during the setup process were identical to yours.

i'm addicted to watching your channel now, just started home ed for my 13 yr old eczema and allergy daughter..and although i have a rather big dishwasher, we never use it, however, i find i'm supporting daughter with lessons etc until 3, then doing planning, researching etc until about 11pm together with my own stuff..i'd rather have a table top dishwasher too..plus your video reminded me of the time when my husband was away, i wanted a clothes airer up in the garden, well i bought a large one as we have 3 adulst and 1 child in the house..i bought such a big airer that i couldn't fit it in the car properly, then, i dug out a hole and got my instant cement mixed up, digging hole took 30 mins of hard work..when i placed the spike in, i hadn't realised how quick, quick cement mix was!!! so i ended up having to dig another hole, but had a full on fight with myself in my garden to get the spike back out first, i had a massive tantrum in the garden that my mother and daughter retreated back inside the house. Plus we now live with a wonky lopsided clothes airer because i still didn't get the hang of using quick cement and i wasn't going to fight digging a third hole!! Honestly, there's always a story to laugh about with my DIY adventures, like the time i tried to put up a shower curtain and ended up with a hole that went right through from bathroom to living room.

🤣 Your DIY adventures sound hilarious! I remember when I first started home-edding I would be planning til 11 every night too, but as time went on I kind of just got into a habit and pattern and didn't seem to need to do as much planning. I guess also probably because we eventually went the online/correspondence course route for key stage 4 which didn't involve as much planning. Good luck with it - I hope you enjoy it as much as we did and thanks so much for watching. :¬)

i can explain why everything is wet. The majority of people don't know how to read boxes. If you pause the video at 0:09 you will see two arrows pointing up, this means 'this side up! the second symbol the umbrella means leakage can occur if not opened correctly. I hope more people will inspect their boxes first from the outside it is such a waste if the appliance needs to be refunded and returned. Nice video, informative, as im after a dishwasher! btw, what a job every time you want to use your machine, that rubber tap connector....no way i woud put up with that.

Everytime you need the tap do you have to remove the attachment? How does the dishwasher know when it’s full and how does the tap turn urself off as it’s in the on position manually? Thanks
@PlanetImo11 күн бұрын
Hiya! Yes, it was awkward having to take it on and off the tap. The dishwasher seemed to know when to stop drawing the water. The tap remained switched on, but water was prevented from coming out while the attachment was on. I quickly got fed up with the tap-method and had it plumbed in. My bulb thing wasn't very good. You should be able to use a screw attachment which hopefully wouldn't fly off a squirt the ceiling! :) I still use this dishwasher and LOVE it :) Thanks for watching.

Hi Becca. Thanks for watching! I only ever use program 6, which is the 30 minute one. It doesn't dry so I just open the door and pull out the rack to let it air dry for a while before putting away. I've had a look in the operating instructions and although it doesn't say which cycle is what number I am deducing they are in numerical order and are as follows: 1 - Intensive 140 mins 2 - Normal 120 mins 3 - ECO 180 mins 4 - Glass 75 mins 5 - 90 Minute - well, 90 mins! 6 - Rapid - 30 mins 7 - Self-cleaning - 80 minutes. I find I can't put really soiled items in it - they need a rinse off under the tap first, preferably straight after use, otherwise they also need a soak. But usually that way everything comes out clean enough, and if not, it's been soaked during the cycle so a quick wipe with a cloth and rinse sorts it out. I hope that was helpful! Imo x

I have the 8 place version of this dishwasher(didn't really need such a big dishwasher but I find the extra basket shelf helps a lot to cram in more stuff). I live in a soft water area so even though I put salt in the tank it doesn't really need it. I also reduced the salt water setting down to the lowest it can go and the rinse aid down to one because the Finish Quantum ultimate pouches have rinse aid in them too. I forgot to do that first wash and everything had so much residue on them.

I say if you ever need to weight something down, attach it to a mug of water.. lol Lmaoooooo... drip, drip, drip... yup... it hit the ceiling.. hahaha That's a lot of force behind the adapter coming off the faucet. Am wondering if that line around the faucet towards the bottom actually does come off to allow the screen inside to be cleaned out with built up minerals and allows for an attachement to be screwed to it for the d/w. The plumber will get that figured out. Best to sit back and wait for him.. ha

Yey! I love mine all these months on. I don’t recommend my botch-job tap connecting method though! I soon had it plumbed in properly. I hope you enjoy yours, too! X

I always use program 6. It takes 30 Minutes but doesn’t dry so I let them air dry with the rack pulled out. I figured it used less energy.

Oh wow!! Hopefully it didn’t provoke a big coughing fit! I had that dishwasher plumbed in in the end - I couldn’t cope with the stress of that thing flying off the tap. Good luck with the recovery and thanks for watching. 😊

Can I ask where can I buy that tap connector as I’ve brought two different once and it’s leaking from the tap

Thank you for the video! I bought a cookology tabletop dishwasher and trying to connect to the kitchen tap. I am also living in Leeds, so that would be great if you can give the local shops name thay sells the pipe😅
@PlanetImo2 жыл бұрын
Ahhh yes... the connector... I got it from the hosepipe section in Wilko, but I didn't want to draw too much attention to it as I don't advise anyone to get that one as it kept blasting off the tap and squirting water on the ceiling, plus I'd had to cut it and adapt it, as it wasn't the right pipe, as you might have seen if you watched the whole video. Also - your tap SHOULD have a screw end, if you unscrew the tip off it. I was convinced mine didn't have it, but eventually, after that rubbery bulb blasted off a few times, it worked itself loose - so I should have got a screw one. I didn't find it at all clear from the manufacturer's website or instructions what that pipe was. I soon got it properly plumbed in and it was so worth it! Thanks so much for watching. x

What's the name of the adapter for the sink please? I have a tabletop that has an option to use tap or fill.

Where did you get the black adaptor thingy from, pease
@PlanetImo Жыл бұрын
Well I did get it from Wilko, but you’re definitely best off with one with a screw fitting on the end - as you might have noticed- mine kept blasting off. 😆 Thanks so much for watching. Oh and I got it plumbed in properly within a few weeks.

I did! Yes! It's much, much easier to use with it plumbed in. Thanks for watching. I still love this dishwasher and it's been great as long as I don't accidentally obstruct the rotating part.

From where can I get this black connector to the faucet before I throw out my dishwasher machine!!!
@PlanetImo Жыл бұрын
Well, I bought it from Wilko gardening section, as it’s meant for hosepipes really. It’s not the best choice as you may have seen from the video as for a start, I had to adapt it to get it to fit plus it kept flying off the tap and even spraying the ceiling with water. I got mine properly plumbed in within a few weeks as I found the tap adapter stressful. 😆 but check to see if you have a screw end on your tap - because a screw one would be so much more secure. I was sure I didn’t have one on mine, but it turned out that I DID all along, so a screw adapter would have been much better. Good luck!

Also try the Rolson one, it is very adaptable

@@PlanetImo That’s what I have - the screw in adaptor. It stays on my tap all the time I just have to click onto it with the quick connect section on the hose. I love mine, have had it for a couple of years. 😎. Most older faucets have a threaded end - it may have a collar on it but you just have to unscrew the collar to access the threaded part. 👍😁

Wetness is nothing to be worried about. All dishwashers are quickly tested before they are shipped out to a customer. It is perfectly normal to open the door and find the insides all wet.
