Cooks Saw has been a trusted name in sawmilling for decades-but where did it all begin?
Every sawyer has a story, and this one is ours. Join Stephen as he takes you back to his family roots in the sawdust, from sharpening Frick mill blades for hard-working sawyers to engineering the toughest bandsaw blades and building industry-leading portable sawmills.
Fueled by ingenuity, hands-on experience, and a relentless drive for quality, we’ve built a legacy that keeps sawyers cutting stronger, faster, and more efficiently.
This is where Cooks Saw began. 💪🔥

Thank you Stephen for telling some of the Cook Saw history. I pray that the Lord sees fit for me to buy a HD 3238 some day. I have a machining and engineering background and believe your saw to be the best design on the market for several reasons. It's also encouraging to know that you were raised in the church. May Gods richest blessings be yours!!!

I like the fact that Mr. Cook is not ashamed to say, ...."we are rural folk, country folk, grew up loving the Lord and loving our country...." that, to me is one reason I drove from southern Missouri to pick up my edger 12 years ago. Maybe one day, I will be able to do the same with a mill. I am a pastor as well and have a similar story.

Another good video Mr. Cook. I'm still loving my AC3667T. It was the first ECM controlled Perkins and has been a winner for sure.
