Thank you Thank you so much ☺️ We eat less spicy so used Byadagi Chillies. I also brought up in Hubli, North Karnataka. But most of my recipes from Udupi style. My parents and in-laws are from South Canara.

I think there are many different types of sarina pudi depending on the need taste and regions etc. Each one looks yummy and mouthwatering. Thanks madam 🙏

True. This is Udupi style and followed my mother's recipe. She add more Cumin seeds than coriander seeds.

I normally use more black pepper as compared to jeera, and coriander i take more than black pepper. Black pepper is good for the throat especially during winters.

Yes everywhere Rasam Powder is different. One use more Coriander and other use more Jeera. I followed my mother's recipe here. We usually don't use more black pepper in our style of Rasam Powder. Usually in Udupi side it is always heat, as it is a coastal area. You can do the changes as you want. Also, many people suffer if they take more black pepper. It leads to constipation.

Both are different. Sarina Pudi andre Rasam Powder. Sarige navu tarakari hakalla. Huli ge tarakari hakthivi. Matte ella samanu eradakku berene. Check my other rasam recipes where I have not used the rasam powder but you will get the same taste. I can tell you how much I can add the ingredients for 4 people in the comment here. Can't repeat the video once again. Cumin Seeds - 3Tbsp Coriander Seeds - 1 Tbsp Byadagi Red Chillies - 5-6 Black Pepper - 4-5 Hing - 3 pinches Curry leaves - 4-5 Coconut Oil - 1/2 tsp. Rest follow the instructions. Hope this helps.

Measuring cup Ella kade sigutte, haage idu ellarigu help agatte antha torisiddu. Matte grams nalli haki antha tumba Jana kelidru. Ella weigh Maadi hakidini. Spoon athava maneliro lota athava cups nalli hakidre ade measurements nimma hatra irolla so ellarigu measure madodu kastha. Haage 1/3 cup Andre 1/2 cup nalli 3/4 Cup andajinalli hakabahudu. Kottambri beeja weight nalli light iratte, so 25 grams agatte. Idu correct agide. Naanu measuring cups nalli helidini. Bere comments nodi, ellarigu correct aagi bandide antha helidare.

ಅಂದಾಜಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಳಬಹುದು. ನಾನು ಅಷ್ಟು ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. 400 grams ಜೀರಿಗೆ, 175 grams ಕೊತ್ತಂಬರಿ ಹಾಕಬಹುದು.

Yes, many people use more Dhaniya than Jeera or cumin seeds. This is the recipe of my mother, who used to do this type from past 40 years, I followed her recipe. We used to love this taste so I showed here.

Rasam powder is rasam powder. How a Brahmin rasam powder is better than others. My rasam is very nice. ( my friends say that) I have Brahmin friends who do not make so nice rasam as me. And Iam not a Brahmin. Cooking skills are individualistic not community based.

Nowhere I said Brahmin style is better than other style rasam powders. It has its individual taste which some like and certain others may not. Spice is less, masala ingredients may be a little mild, and hence some may not appreciate our style and nothing wrong with that. This fact is true with all preparations which are marked Udupi Brahmin style by me. Saying Brahmin style sets the right expectations I hope. No need to feel offended by the same since it is not a badge of honour for me.

Rasam or saaru is essentially a Bangalore-mysore region dish and adding Udupi to everything along with typical bragging has become a menace.

@@ArchanaDhanvantri2117 you can also check out many Udupi style rasam powder who sell in Bangalore also. Many of my friends bring from caterers who are from Udupi side. So it is not only popular in Bangalore or Mysore.
