I've never understood why people run from Police. You know you've done something wrong. Own up to it. A lot of cops will give you a break if you pull right over and give them respect. I've been pulled over many times and only have gotten a warning. Granted nothing has been too serious but I also don't see the need to drive like an idiot.

Most municipalities have a no pursuit policy... especially with motorcycles. The risk of losing life is much greater when pursuing a motorcycle. The liability of losing life isn’t worth the price of a speeding ticket in most departments minds. And the bikers know that.. so they take off.

Bikes are only allowed to do 25 here. (Netherlands) mine did 35. not crazy fast but to fast, and they can take away your bike for it. My friend just lost his one and he was depressed as hell Got pulled over for doing 35(i was 16 and never been pulled over in my life) my heart was pounding.
