As soon I saw the title for the video before watching I thought "off screen,that should of been the Boundary Break's job". I was pleasantly surprised when I started the video

I mainly just came here because of "Sailor Moon" in the title. I wonder if one of the Punch-Out devs was a legit Sailor Moon fan or if they just wanted to include something cheeky with their Japanese boxer. I've never watched Sailor Moon Crystal, but are they ever going to adapt the last two arcs of the series or no? Just curious...
@Cyberbrickmaster19865 жыл бұрын
In the NES version, he said some stereo typically racist Japanese references. In the Wii version, he talks about Japanese proverbs in Japanese. The Wii version still uses stereotypes, but remedies them by giving the characters personality. They even made Von Kaiser a bit of a coward to start with, since he's not much harder than Glass Joe when you fight him.
@opusmagnus265 жыл бұрын
Can you imagine a Punch-Out game that goes nuts with the national stereotypes TF2-style? I wonder how that would work out. Or is that already what it was back in the NES days and is now for the Wii game?
@tuxedobird5 жыл бұрын
Opus Magnus nah, I like the fact they take what is normally a negative stereotype and flesh it out to make them more realistic. I like tf2 as well, but I like the differences between the two styles, and wouldn’t like a merge.

Alright hear me out: a boundary break / cool bits episode of the GameXplain logo intro. I’d love to see the 3D source file and the animation from different angles.

I noticed another cool bit, this time in “The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. If you listen to the “Inside Gannon’s Castle” theme in The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. You’ll here that it uses the same instrument (Organ) as the final Bowser battle theme in Super Mario 64. And I’d say that’s a pretty cool bit.

MarioBrax you should, so many sailor moon 🌙 snes games existed but they decided to continue their last game (which is a 3D game) on ps1 and sega saturn!! But sega Saturn was the definitive edition for that game not because of the system name related to sailor saturn but because the system was powerful enough to run anime scenes… I guess they were totally wrong but whatever!!
