Some of this system are good for certain countries and a joke for others. I love your videos. Always great stuff Greetings from Costa Rica 🇨🇷

You beat me to it. I was thinking that it looked like particle board, which burns pretty quick. That's why mobile homes go up so fast.

I wonder how fast those Strawpanels will burn. Particle board tends to burn pretty quickly.

I guess it's the same as styrofoam houses. Needs fire proof materials inside and outside. Sheet rock and plaster facade for example.

So anyone else realize that the quick concrete post tool is just a cardboard tube that you could have bought at a hardware store at any point over the last three decades if not longer ...?
@Guy-fc9zx2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s not really a “new” invention and I also doubt that it is any different then the ones that you can get at a hardware store.

I was using these 40 years ago. These aren't new. The narrator said that these were available in 6, 8, 10, and 12" sizing. I was using those sizes as well as sizes up to 24" back then. I also think that larger sizes were easily available.

Why is it that all these "amazing technology" vids just seem to be full of ways to half arse the task.
@brianhaygood1832 жыл бұрын
To be fair, most of these are just examples of how these things have been done for decades. Quickrete tubes, electric driveway heaters, and lots of others. There is very little of interest here except the fact some idiot is trying to revive straw panels that were outlawed in most places decades ago due to fire, insect, and rot.

We need building materials that can withstand high winds and last a long time. i do not see how covering plastic with a more durable material is real good, it looks better than it is. Will it last and stay stable over the long run? We also need things that will not burn. We need to get away from the actual plastics and perhaps get away from some of the plant material- at least in applications where it could burn or rot. So many of the new inventions make it cheaper for manufacturers but the end consumer ends up getting some convenience but ends up paying a lot more in the end. The ideas are good, at least some of them, but they mark them up way to much. Only the wealthy can afford them. Home Depot here in the US has sold the concrete tubes for many years, they would be fun to use but i havent found a chance or need for them yet.
