The Grinch side grin 😂😂😂 Serena from You Can’t Eat the Grass has THE BEST method for sowing snaps! Sprinkle them over the soil and then when they’re still super tiny, carefully prick them out and transplant. I tried it one year and they did great and I will never go back to trying to sow tiny individual seeds 😂

Always enjoy your content. For years the "tooth pick" method has been a game changer, one of the many tips and tricks I've learned from you. Love that you don't go all high end with your sowing method; accessible to all...no fancy equipment needed. And BTW, keep singing, puts a smile on my face. 😺

The swift blocker was a game changer for me this year. I was able to rapidly make all the soil blocks I needed and my hands weren’t killing me when I was finished. I blocked them onto extra long trays and then used a pancake flipper to lift up however many I needed at a time.

I'm so happy to see you post this video. This head to have been really hard for you. We Are all sitting here trying not to cry while watching it knowing how much grandpa is missed😢❤ Get a LED floor lamp. They're released small and they have a flexible head. They're less than 30 bucks. They work great and you can point them directly over the seeds. And it makes them show up even the tiniest ones because you can put it on Different types of color. It will make it so you can see a black lavender seed on black soil. This might help your mom so she doesn't lose track😊

You might want to ask about ability to lift, stoop, get dirty, be around fertilizers, following directions, andgardening experience (which all can be learned). Edited to add that most electric companies charge a premium for electric from 4pm - 9pm, so you might want to adjust your light timers.

Loving your videos! I am obsessed with flowers atm! I heard from other sources that vermiculite lets light through, so I am using it for seeds that need light to germinate. So far it seems to be working. Always great to see all experiences of how to grow from seed! Looking forward to a seedling update ☺️
@FlowerHillFarm10 ай бұрын
It definitely depends on how fine the vermic is and how thickly you put it on! Mine is very fine and I load it on for dark loving seeds. I've also used it sparingly on lisianthus and other seeds that need light and that's worked great! :)

I need to start seeds too! Last year and this year have been a bust. Last year I was fostering some puppies that dragged all my seed trays off the table and chewed them up 🙄 and we were also training for a bike ride so time was limited. This year hasn't started off good either. Been gone 3 out of the past 4 weeks out of town and the seeds sprouted but didn't have sunlight for a couple days. Ugh....sometimes it's a good year and sometimes it's not.
