Hi Lexi, what a great video with added bonus of Sadie making multiple visits trying to hijack various items LOL. The MBM is so pretty and I thank you for the pros and cons. I have the original Anastasia MBM and while it is a different color arrangement I think the shadows likely perform better. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up the DM blush kit earlier because now it's sold out as you said and I can only hope that they restock for the Sephora sale. The YSL look amazing on you! Appreciate your hard work and dedication you invest 24/7 as well as your honesty and intelligence. ❤❤

I had no intention of buying the Mario pallet but I went into Sephora to restock hair care and I swatched it in store. I snatched it up instantly. I can only wear true cool tone nudes that won’t turn warm on me and this is the pallet that of all my hopes and dreams. I have had it 5 days, and I am so happy with it! 10/10!

Very helpful reviews, as always! I appreciate all the hard work you put in to show, describe, and compare and contrast all the items! I think I’ll skip the MbM, due to the formulas as well as the DM, since I have so many cheek products at this point and they seem to be more hard work than most. However, the YSL lippies look very nice and intrigue me with their being actually comfortable! Sadie’s appearances are always a plus! She’s so beautiful and cute!

We had to change all of our garbage cans to simplehuman when our pup was a pup. I think at age three she has finally grown past the urge to be a paper shredder. I’m eager for the Mario palette and this video inspired me to track down the package that has been sitting at our house that is still in ruins. I was hoping YSL would bring back #17 Encre Rose, a stunning lavender shade. I still use it and have a backup of my all-time favorite shade. It's hard to find a cool-toned baby pink in a lip stain. I'm going to try #44.

Thank you for the video! The Makeup by Mario palette is gorgeous - us cool girlies finally have something neutral! On a side note, I found almost all holiday and FW releases this year to be quite uninspiring in terms of colour stories and quality - I'm a spring/summer gal myself so I might be biased, but with the exception of the Cle De Peau holiday collection which is stunning, I'm just not very excited for the new releases this season. I think the beauty industry is at a strange turning point where it's very saturated with not much product differentiation. There are many brands trying to reinvent the wheel, but they also don't seem to truly understand what consumers want...

I love this Mario palette. I thought I’d not use the blue at all, but the tone of the blue works for me! I got the Danessa Myricks blush set the day they released. 😂 I am a big fan of this formula. (I literally use the balm powder everyday as a primer. These blushes are also my second favorite DM product) It blends easily and lasts all day even on my oily skin. Give me these and the newish Chanel cream to powder blushes, and I’d need no others. The new brown and red are GORGEOUS! I just picked up a few Kulfi lip stains, so I’m set for now, but I’m going to keep the YSL in mind for the future. YSL just makes great lip products! I always love a Sadie cameo!!! My boxer mix Polly is a garbage scavenger, too. She loves to tear up paper and boxes.

The YSL Lip Inks look so good on you. You chose great shades. I like that the applicator is pretty petite so application will be fairly easy. I wouldn't have thought of picking this product up but I will definitely pick up at least one to try. For me, the Chanel lacques are much better than the ultra tenue duos because the duo lipstick is so difficult for me to take off at the end of the day. Also I like to touch up my lipstick halfway during the way and with that one, I cant really touch it up - can just add the gloss.

The DM blushes kit has some great shades & so pigmented. The YSL lipglosses look really tempting too! I will probably pass on this Mario palette even though I think the palette is beautiful. Hello Lexi, I have been rewatching a lot of your holiday reviews 😅 I'm thinking to get the Laura Mercier palette and Suqqu green quad. Is the teal in the LM palette the same as the 3rd shade in the Suqqu? And do you think the LM is too similar to the Dior backstage? Looking at your eye swatches I think they would pair very nicely and I don't see any real dupes but a lot of complementary shades. Also it looked you can sort of dupe the look of the Silver Birch duo w the LM palette but the LM might work better for fair skin as the silver is brighter. Sorry for the many questions...

I will try to get swatches up this weekend. I agree that they are complementary. You could create a similar look to the Chantecaille with LM but just a tad less shimmery.

Lexi, did you have a problem with the quality of this color palette? Another lady on you tube said that there was too much softness and flakes. Don't buy it, etc. I did buy it but haven't used it as yet. Thanks.

It's a bit powdery and there is some fall out. I tried to describe the formulas as best as possible but I don't think it's necessarily a bad formula but different from his previous palettes and maybe not what is expected by everyone. It's a bit drier imo.

Girl u sped up those eye swatches so much i got kinda dizzy watching 😂i think its alittle faster then usual . I was in my crappy kohles Sephora 2 days ago picking up some DrDG peel pads and CT setting spray and they had it eo i swatched it and i wasnt that impressed. Those swatches on u look great but on me they looked ashy and so dry and glittery so i skipped it. I am glad i got to swatch it because i originally wanted it then changed my mind and then thought will i have Fomo if i dont get it but sense i swatched it i dont think i will . I got that DM blush balm set when it released and i love it . I have been so picky lately about my purchases im really proud of myself for not going crazy this year and actually thinking about my purchases and watching reviews to really see if i want it. Thanks to u i have made wise decisions so i do appreciate all that u purchase and review for us and still dont know why u dont have so many more subs u are literally the best Luxury makeup reveiwer out there. DM has some cool products but it seems that most of her makeup is made in China. I try to avoid makeup and skincare made in "PRC", as is commonly used on labels these days. My friends who moved here from China as adults in their 20s and 30s would not purchase domestically made makeup and skincare, even before they emigrated to North America.

Very helpful Lexi (as always). Loving DM lately, but I wouldn't know what to do with the browner blushes, especially Spiced Late. May as well just get the perfect shade for me. First time seeing Primadonna in action and in comparison - fabulous.. Just wondering if it's too close to Mac's Glow Play Heat Index(?) coz I literally just bought that. Full-up on the lipstick 💄 front. You've got me enjoying my stockpile (TY!) YSL included. Because of that, my focal points have changed to blush and/or statement lips. MU by Mario palette has had so many mixed reviews, many focusing on the fall-out. I think the palette would be good for someone who doesn't have much for the evening.

I love that YSL color on you! And I used to wear the older formula. There was a color, #417 I think, that was the perfect mauvey pink. I have the Rouge Allure Laques, but I never wear them. I do wear the Ultra Tenue, on days I have no time to reapply lip color for hours. But otherwise I prefer a bullet. Just easier to reapply. As for the Mario, it was my first purchase from this brand, so I had no comparisons. I like it. The reason I bought it was because it looked like a cool colored complete eye palette, and it fills the bill. Brow bone to liner, and multiple looks. I've had it for few days now and never have to remind myself to reach for it. It's so easy for daytime or more dramatic looks. I haven't had much fallout either, except with shimmer/glitters, but every brand has that with this type of finish. I just tap carefully with a finger, and not much of a problem. I've done my eyes with thus several times and never felt I should have done my eyes before my base makeup. Which is good because I don't like doing that. If I had to do so, it would have been returned, but it's fine. Thanks for the video You look great in all of this. I need to try underpainting. 💚
