Will you guys shut up about his weight? I love this guy for being fat. He has the balls to be on camera. He hasn't let all the shit heavy people go through effect him. I'm a chunk too, and I honestly don't have the balls to broadcast myself. So you know what? I look up to this man. He's awesome.

The people under the stairs is a classic cant wait to find it in the wild since its cheaper than buying in Ebay or the bluray from Amazon I don't want to pay more than $3-$5 or less than a $1 for DVDs but have to buy in bundles

Ticks scared me so bad when I was younger. I love the soundtrack of Candyman. I use to LOOOOVE Ice Cream Man! That movie a classic. I don't know why people didn't like Thinner, I thought it was quiet creepy. I will NEVER look at cherry pie the same because of that movie. Wes Craven's People Under the Stairs is my CHILDHOOD classic! I watched that movie over 50 times. I quote it. You have an AWESOME taste in horror movies! I will be subscribing!

The people under the stairs - Classic movie. Good to see someone still remembers the 90's and how much influence it had raising us ( in you're case 80's as you said). Back when movies had both a gripping story and good effects, not just eye candy. I gotta admit, the quality of the Langoliers hurt my feelings, but like a car crash I just couldnt look away haha. Mate you're alright in my books, good work .

I love your videos--you have impeccable taste, both in good horror movies and acknowledging the greatest decades for horror. (80s and 90s of course!) I'm about to watch your clip about Cult Horror. Personally I haven't seen Cannibal Holocaust, and I accidentally slept through The Legend of Boggy Creek the one time my girlfriend and I rented it. So I'm dying to get back into the cult masterpieces. Anyway, great stuff as usual.

Geeze Leweez! The main character from Frankenhooker reminds me SO much of an English teacher I had my junior year of college. He was a perv from New Jersey and by the end of the year I considered cutting him up and not stitching him back together. Thinner was great! Lizard guy was the grossest "monster" I've seen in a long time. Candyman was great too, so was people under the stairs. Hearing the young white girl call the main character "fool" was hilarious! She sounded like she was insulting him

"sucked so bad".. my friend you obviously did not get the point of the film , it was a tongue in cheek movie that played upon the tropes of horror films and by that point became completely original by poking fun at the cliches.. sucks that you didn't get the whole point of the movie

First video I've stumbled across of yours, really enjoyed it. Nice variety of movies, but like you said, the 90s wasn't the best for horror. I still like a lot of them, though. Definitely agree that Stephen King movies were taking over back then. The Langoliers was really good up to the point where those... "CGI" blobs showed up. A favourite of mine is In the Mouth of Madness, back in 94 I think.

dude, you've got a great collection! I love the fact you also picked Cube, I'm a big fan of those films. Hmm, intersting with frankenhooker because it sort of sounds like "Return of the living dead III". Probably because of the whole bring ling the girlfriend back to life thing. But if you haven't seen Return of the living dead III, watch it. It's actually a pretty good sequel. It's sort of like a romance zombie movie. It would probably be my favorite return of the living dead movie (haven't seen the first two so not 100% sure if it's my favorite) but still watch it. It's a really good sequel

My all time favorite 90's horror film is Jacob's Ladder from 1990, but I'm not sure if it would be classed as an 80's horror film as it was probably made in 1989. But seriously the scene in the film with his girlfriend and the devil is so brilliant.

I think those new Tarantino/[whoever else that is] Grindhouse reimaginings from 70's exploitation horror and action films are on the right track, working back in the best horror age instead of trying to make the same thing work with advanced CGI and camera work. I'm curious what you think of these films.

I appreciate your recommendations, and although I don't agree with your taste completely, I like what you do. You sort of unearth a lot of stuff that's generally overlooked, or hard to find, or deviant even to lots of horror fans, which is cool. I think you have more horror movies than, like, anybody ever, heh. Agreed about the best being in the 70's and 80's. I don't like the camera work in 90's movies, and they don't usually have that appealing of an aesthetic.

Great video although the stand is technology a mini series but thats okay alot of people still believe that the stand and it are tv movies but there miniseries just want to confirm this because so many people still think there movies but there not. It did not help that it got rid of the credits between episodes on the dvd but great choice of horror movies and miniseries.

Thinner was actually advertised a lot on TV when it was coming out. Usually on MTV. I don't know if it was the Kari Wuhrer connection or what. You're too young to remember. I'm 37. I know Thinner flopped and then appeared on Cinemax a few times, but it got forgotten.

what do you think about laid to rest? i enjoyed watching it, it had an old school kinda atmposphere to it, reminded me alot of halloween and friday the 13th series where the killer never speaks and dresses in a weird mask, but it also felt original. i though the movie was IMO one of the best horror movies from the recent years, even though the ending was pretty bad. i feel most of horror movies these days focus way too much on killing and gore which makes the audience feel sick, instead of the low budget horror films that built tension and creepy atmosphere to deliver the horror to the audience. man i miss the old times...
