I have Phanteks D 30 fans 13 mm ARGB adaptors , Cooler Master 6 hub is 12 mm port , and Thermalright hub is 11 mm port , who knows what other hubs are , the problem is not this Cooler Master hub , its the entire industry , all manufacturers , there is no standardization after decades , just ridiculous , so I bought the Cooler Master 6 hub , and I sanded down each side of my ARGB adaptors , 0.5 mm off each side , a quick and easy fix , no need to be cutting off connectors and making new ones , the sanding job was neat and tidy and smooth , you would never know Id done them.

2:55 LOL, thank you! You've made me realize why there are hubs without a case! i didn't like them, but now they make perfect sense due to this issue, I have read few reviews people have said on various hubs that the connectors are too big.

I use one of these for my retro builds that dont support rgb paired with a mini rgb effects controller. does the job. but you're 100% correct in the size of rgb connectors not fitting. i just sanded the size of the connects to get them to fit. Also love the DIY AIO with clear garden hose.

It is meant only for coolermaster fans.. If you can take out the plastic cover it will fit any header

I don't think I saw any mention of that on the site or on store ads. It does have masterfan in the title I guess. My sickleflow fit yeah but not my 2 msi aio fans

@@carterlee7101 pwm slots are standard size didn't had to sand down the conectors or anything but the argb slots are made for cooler master fans same voltages and all but the plastic housing is tinner

I just installed this last night. I'm using Cooler Master fans and the PWM plugs can only be plugged in 1 way and the ARGB plugs fit inside with no need to modify anything.

My RGB connector wouldn't fit either. I used a razor blade and tried the connector body down. Works well.

Most of my rbg fit besides some MSI stuff was too wide. No idea why they didnt consider this when designing the device otherwise its good.

I had the same size issue. I took a razorblade and trimmed the sides down. Didn't expose any metal and since it's still a bit large the other direction they still fit in there nice and tight. I screwed myself tho having never done any rgb work before. Even tho this device says addressable, it will not let me control individual fans.

Yeah it's a pain in the ass .. I am not a expert on ARGB but it should let u address each bank of lights individualy ..

Nope you need an arbg controller for that while these are basically just splitters in box with added benefit of having a power source so you don't have to worry about usual rbg header limits

oh man I got a CoolerMaster AIO for my new build but my motherboard didn't have an ARGB slot so hopefully this will work for me. If the connector from the ARGB doesn't fit that'll be wild since it's the same brand! Should've watched your video first before buying.

​@@Gymjunnky So i had no issues with fitting the connectors into the hub itself but i still couldn't power the RGB on the AIO because i don't have an ARGB spot on my motherboard. Not sure if i messed up somewhere or if ill have to buy an adapter for the 3 pin cable 🤷‍♀️

I have a problem with Cooler Master (fan and argb). They sell the Cooler Master HAF 700 Berserk, which allows you to install 17 argb fans, however, the manual is a 💩, Cooler Master support is a 💩, they always respond with empty answers and take a long time to respond. Luckily Amazon sent me a Cooler Master HUB💩 and I had the same problem fitting the ARGBs.

I have this, I've connected the ARGB cable into the ARGB hub but the gpu holder (that is run by 5V ARGB isn't running, I don't think I am connecting it properly, I've put the cable in, SATA cable on the other side but should I be putting something on the side opposite to the SATA?

I believe the red port is the master thou I didn't bother with it becouse i just run my fans flat out.. Yes you can u use two of them don't see why not .... And yes U can use any softwear U like for the RGB

I said fuck guarantee and open the chasis. Do you want to know why bios does not see fucking fans? Guess what...??? Whoever gather all of the parts did not plug the cable comeout of the fan hub for chasis fan slot over motherbord. Brooo can you believe it.And thanks to this video for that i learn fub hub thing exist. Thanks YOU!
