I have a previous version of the ml360 in white. Overall I like it, it is easy to install, good looking and has good details as pointed on this video. It is noisy and the fans could be better. It keeps my 12400f under 30c most of the time, so I am very pleased.
@FrequencyOfThought8 ай бұрын
The reason you need 360 for i9 or similar is because of heat soak, the longer the system runs the hotter the liquid gets and that becomes a problem, by adding more surface area for the water to transfer heat and also more liquid you improve the cooling performance by about 1/3. So if you're running around 75C with a 240MM then you can expect about a 10 degree difference in extended maximum power usage. Now undervolt it and you're going to get an even more stable system. Remember a hot wire takes more power to get the same voltage, so by keeping your CPU cooler it improved electron flow. That's my 2 cents. Responsiveness and stutter can mean your CPU on normal settings can be struggling with auto-clocking boosting your CPU and that creates stutters and undesired effects and leads to more unexpected crashes and behaviors.

thanks james, good insights. I quite like the look of their blocks. quite stylish for a moderate CPU load.

Thanks for the review. In Germany this currently goes for 90 Euros on the White Edition. Despite a slight hit in performance I still think that this is a worthwhile product. The 25mm thickness allows for more compatibility, the main reason for me since I am limited to sub 30mm. Combined with a reputable brand and the very low price tag a 5°C hit at 200W is more than reasonable in my opinion. And as other reviews show at lower temperatures the distance gets even smaller.

I recently upgraded from an i3 12100F to an i7 13700KF paired with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 120mm air cooler. With gaming, the 212 was more than sufficient to cool the i7 with temps barely breaking 80c. When it came to rendering video however, temps would shoot straight to 100c and the CPU would throttle. I installed this particular AIO to my new i7, and temps now peak between 89c and 92c. For $100, this AIO is more than worth the price.

Cooler Master’s in-house designed pump was always the quietest pump I’d ever seen. It is actually quieter at 100% than 50%, and at 100% it was silent. They are the only AIO I would use because the others are just annoyingly loud. Here’s hoping the new gen is as good as the old one!
