I plan on ordering these fans today. Man they look so good, Just wanted to mention for anyone coming around for info, coolermaster also makes a 6 in 1 PWM/RGB fan hub. Its about 25 bucks, and that one hub allows you to fully power the fans and rgb, its very easy to look at and figure out how to use. Just in case anyones wondering.

hey man I wanna get 7 fans and 3 on the aio (all mf120 halo fans) and I wanna put them in my Lian Li 011 D EVO. Can you give me a quick tutorial on how and where to plug them and sync them up with aura sync? My motherboard also has 2 ARGB headers. Thanks.

don't set them all to white, each header can only handle 3A but 5 of your fans connected to that set to white will draw 4A, so your header might have some issues.

Do you need to plug each of the fans into power on your motherboard? Or does the fan power daisy chain as well? Because it seems to only daisy chain with the Argb connector I’m just wondering if that provides power for the fans to spin as well

So iv just bought 2 of these fans as singles as I don’t have room for 3. Iv daisy chained them together, both have rgb colour when my pc is on but only one fan is spinning, any suggestions?

My Mf120 fan comes with the argb 3pin AS WELL AS the 4pin to the motherboard. Do you plug both of them in to the mother board?

no. 12v only if you want or only have a 12v rgb connection. 5v is for aRGB supported motherbards. Always only use one!

i am guessing you cannot daisy chain the power connections? For example, if i wanted to add (4) fans to the case and i only have (2) CHA FAN connectors on the motherboard, i can only plug 2 fans in, and not (4), correct?

Hi, thanks for the video. I decided to purchase 2x of these fans recently in a sale and did not visit this video prior. I have the MSI b450 which these fans suggest they are able to work with and it comes with a 4-PIN connector for the MSI. However I can't seem to get them to work and I don't want any controller with this I just wanted to plug into the JRGB connector and have it work. I am guessing that this is not possible and I shall have to return them?

The argb rated current of these fans is said to be 1.4A (cooler master website). Since your mobo supports 3A of current output of the Argb header, daisychaining these fans would theoretically be impossible. Yet I’m seeing plenty of ppl like you successfully daisychain them. Have you experienced any problems with the fan’s brightness or anything?

Not at all no issue with brightness, no flickering or anything.

The raiting for 1 JRainbow header is 3A but it is handling 4.2A. It would probably just decrease brightness a bit. I plugged in 1 fan into its own header but there was no notable difference in brightness.

@@infinitetxrx1390 I already figured out that the ARGB rated current is in fact not 1.2A per fan as listed on their site, but is 0.55A as noted on the back of the fan itself. So yeah basically that.

You need to use the controller.

Yup, you will have to use the argb controller, your board only has RGB header, which is jRGB, 4 pin.

No there is no limit

check in your manual if you are not sure if you have ARGB port conection available for your fans, if you don´t, as he explain in the video you might be needing a hub or this controller to make your RGB work with your fans
