So i would like to know do i really need that hub for that software to work because i am looking at "Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 V2 ARGB White Edition" on amazon to buy since i am trying to make my build a little more on the white side and the thing is the fans from what i can see only does a daisy chain for the ARGB headers. Also would like to know if it might work with other fans because while i would have 6 of those white fans i am planning to keep using my Deepcool CF 120's for the top of the case and also using the ASRock software cause i am using a ASRock board as well which is alright but the music settings i have pretty much sucks so um ya.

I had mf120 halo but two died in a couple months time and after rma new fan pack was more yellow ish when set go white compared to the older fan pack. Switched to ll120 but I can count the individual leds and it’s looks cheap and bad. Any suggestion for fans that look good if set to white. Asiahorse ones looks good but not available for me. I don’t have argb header on mobo and will only use white because it suits my build.

Based from what I see at 5:16 or 6:31 for example, you can. The inner and outer rings are adressed separately. He even sets colours individually for each led a bit later, so if you figure out which ones are for the inner ring, you just set them to black

yes, just set the three values for Red Green and Blue to 0 , 0 ,0 and set as custom color. This is off.

I just wanna confirm before buying: My Mobo (asus b450 gaming plus) doesn't have an argb header but my fans (coolermaster sickleflow 120) are argb and they r connected to a mini controller powered by sata. Now if I want to control these lightings through my Mobo, can I do that using this argb controller since it has that usb connection from controller to mobo? Plz reply

Hey man thanks for the informative video. I was wondering if you could explain or investigate if the masterplus software will allow you to configure non cooler master devices such as other fan brands or led strips. Like can you add select a custom device for each channel on the controller and tell it like this one is a fan (circle) with 24 LEDs, or this one is a led strip with 40 LEDs.

i bought this recently and it does with my msi coolerliquid 360r. it is very late now but it might be useful for someone in the future. the custom argb diagram doesnt match perfectly but by trial and error (not much effort) it does the job well

I have an MM831 mouse that used to work with software, the mouse got replaced under warranty, now every time I boot the software, weather my mouse is connected wirelessly or via USB, it says there is not compatible device. Even on their website, under compatible devices my mouse does not show up. WTF is wrong with Cooler Master?

Hey man, do the fans retain their colors even after closing the software (kill all .exe and services)? Just confirming this works similar to software like NZXT CAM before I buy their controller. I like to run my system really clean so I close all the RGB software after they are done initializing the colors. Currently using OpenRGB to control my fans motherboard logo, fans, RAM ARGB but it looks to be potentially very dangerous for the system the more I read about it. So far I have found my RAM's RGB software to be decent & the logo being rainbow I can live with it. Only problem are the fans

@@MathewAguayo2023 it's been a while but if I'm remembering it right OpenRGB is incompatible with some motherboards that can cause it to brick. I think it's because it is messing with memory values so deep in the hardware each time it changes the colors. Not everything is compatible with OpenRGB back when I posted it so you might have some issues depending on your hardware. Might be a good idea to check if everything is compatible before even downloading the software. Probably the same reason why some GSkill RAM sticks broke because of their RGB software.

Please compare with CoolerMarster ARGB A1 controller will this one of the upgraded A1 work with Deepcool CF12Plus and CF120 fans and the Deepcool L360 ARGB and will it let your control individual LEDs? Can you control other brand fans and control the brightness and control every single individual LED on the fans? Can you use the controller you have on a mobo that does not have any ARGB/RGB header like my Asus Prime H410M-E?

Most helpfull comment here: To set the halo leds and the rotor led's to seperate colors: Set the leds from 5 to 12 till 15 past 12 to 1 color and the others to another. Youre welcome

Yes the leds are controlled by CM controller which then connects to a usb header on the mobo

@@UFR00lz so you mean like the AMD wraith prism? my prism outer ring LED's i can make it a certain color, but i can also make my fan LED's a different color than the ring LED's. i was hoping to do that with the cooler master masterfans if i get them, so that they look like my wraith prism. the outer rings on the masterfans are almost as thin as my prism outer rings, which would match better than the corsair ll120's i have.
