Really nice. I really like this Qube 500 too, pretty small. Good front and top ventilation. I hope they have solid side panel version too. Packaging could be better, I do not like these foams. They are great protecting, but hard to dispose off. I am design a case myself (for over a year, still not done), and few months ago, also transitioned to making it flat pack version. It makes shipping, painting, and modding easier. Plus it is easier to model and manufacture at smaller volumes. PS. Mains is smaller, more like 20 litters (for micro ATX, and SFX PSU only), so a different class.

I just got the case, I do like it. However I have my PC on my left and a big sell to me was the mirrored south paw mode. This mode though has an upside-down motherboard and the front panel IO is facing down and nearly impossible to use. So now I have it as test bench mode with walls and glass. Essentially a case on its side with feat on the side facing down. I like it and am messing around with it. The color pops more on Camera than in person which is opposite of most things. I also find air flow a bit lacking. Overall I am happy, I think it is super cute and unique instead of a black box with glass.

@@deathab0ve Yeah, I wanted to use southpaw too until I rearranged my desk to make a right-side layout work. I got mine recently and put both handles on the top. Can't plug half my things in, because the cable heads are too long to fit under the handle. I'd rather have the handle though, I like ease of picking it up and moving it around. I still really love it and have found it so much easier to pop open and adjust/update than other cases I've had.

@@mintgreen292 It is a high compromise case, but very unique of a case. New things just have bugs/issues to be worked out. I hope they make a Mark II and it is even better.

I wish those product PDFs were easily accessible. It could be interesting to see the various suggested configurations. I also wonder how they would set it up with 3.5 inch drives which they say they have space for 4 of, lol. It seems like the three 2.5 inch drives fit in the back.

This is perfect timing. I currently have an ATX PC shoved into an older MicroATX Q300L lol. I 3D printed new mesh side panels for it, but hopefully I don't need that to fix the airflow with the QUBE 500

Don't know about Cherry Cheesecake, Thomas; but this case is very cheesecake in and of itself! It makes me smile and I can see why you are quite enthused about it. How long before the Hyper 622 Halo White review goes up? Looking forward to seeing how that performs. The highlights on the fans and the bodies of both cooler are just bellisimo. This case showed up at just the right time too; That it flatpacks eliminates altogether a couple of problems I needed to address. 👌👌👍👍

doesnt even cover the bigest aspect. it has an open source system for 3d printing involving the holes meaning external mounting is not only viable but ENCOURAGED

Wow. I did my first build in that Hyte Y60 but this thing looks cool & quirky. The only thing that would make me choose the Y60 again is the vertical GPU mount.

On the bottom does it come with a panel if I want to lay it down in HAF XB. Way to much mesh over mesh as I think it would be better with smaller holes outside and just fan bar mounts under with a finer mesh filter. Outside holes small and a lot more of the but not the fine mesh holes. Give it better air flow and I'll take one now in white. If you make it dual chamber and better air flow I'll take 2 like the HAF XB.

Would be perfect if the power supply intake was on the side, like the side intake from O11, but only for the PSU. Using a small format PSU would allow front intake top and bottom, depending on the case’s dimensions. Tried the ASUS Prime and the Jonsbo D41. The lack of an intake inline with the CPU cooler totally ruined for me.

Have to wonder if instead of sending 3 extra panel colours they'd do better with a base primer coat that you could paint yourself, you could paint it white and red and make it look like Cherry Cheese cake

At the back there is diffrent oriantation of this case but i cant see PSU there? Also this have vertical GPU support but Tempered Glass blocking the GPU fans how can its possible?Can we order Mesh Pannel for side instead of Glass?

How would you access the on/off switch to the PSU?, couldn't see it on the video. Looks like you need to have it switched on before installing it and isolate the power at the wall socket?

Do you know how well an SFX PSU works mounted on the bottom? I have not seen anyone try this yet.

Mounting the psu at the bottom is going to block some airflow for the GPU, which is why nobody did that configuration.

The inner white panels need to have the same hole opening as the external panels. So much wasted airflow.

Flat pack computer cases, WTF??? It's good them panels still come painted, eh? Give it 5 years and we'll have to 3d print PC cases ourselves... after we pay a small initial licensing fee of 499gbp and ongoing subscription of 9.99gbp per month (you won't own nuffink anymore and you'll be happy).

Case looks like 0% air pressure, 100% air leak. Such setup shouldnt work too well on summer days, where ambient temp goes to 27+ °C. Sadly, no one really tests for different ambient temps, hard to tell.

This case seems like a more expensive q500l you need to assemble.... Also the panel colors are awful.
