Depends on your body and spi ne. I had 2 spinal surgerys and drag bike style is comfortable for me. Plus in the Sonoran Desert- 'no curves'. ! To each his own. Been riding since 1966.... All kinds.... (but I understand your view)

In alot of states those "Ape Hangers are illegal if they are above the riders shoulders. Some of these bikes I wouldn't want to ride. They look clumsy, awkward to steer & stop

Some are show..there are a few clean rideable sleds in there...I had a '50 model 45 solo...that was 6 in from bttm frame to ground...had to cross some rr crossings at an angle to keep from hanging up

In Europe in the land of the Hillbilly, the state called Austria, motorbikes are always built so low, because otherwise one could not drive under bridges. Sometimes there is so little space that the motorcyclists have to dismount, push the motorcycle through, crawl on their stomachs themselves and then drive on.
