Al Simmons great, great? Grandfather was in the cell next to him when mammon offered him to become spawn. Al grandfather turned him down which greatly intrigued mammon. So he gave it to the guy next to him.

He had Wanda great grandpa turned into a hellspawn and even got Al mom to get with Al father. All of this so Al and Wanda child could be the greatest hellspawn.

Sadly the hbo series is all well probably ever get plus the film. I was like 15 when became q collector at issue 50. Movie came out few months or yr or so later. Still got my collection 1-100 with few the 30s missing. Comic shops back 20yrs ago didn't have any or I'd have those. Got several 1st issues mint 4th 1st appearance violator an 3 of 50 autograph by Greg capello an a limited edit b&w curse of Spawn 1 that comic store only got 1 of per order. Yeah it's shoeboxed in plastic covers an cardboard. Thought it'd be worth something until found out the made 1 r 2million issue no1 spawn 😂. Might have few hundreds altogether max😂 still I'll always have a soft spot for spawn to worm.his way into my mind. 😂

​@nomad155 I wouldn't believe what he says. That's mainly the newer fans. Most of us that have been here awhile love how he's written more than anything. How powerful he is is cool but we aren't like Dragonball fans. Nothing to prove over his strength and it isnt something to flaunt since it's only the one Hellspawn (AL simmons) that gets that powerful. The Spawn franchise is more than 1 Spawn, I personally love the Medieval one myself.
