My personal tip is: Do not be afraid to cancel your inflated mode. You keep the bonus health for a while as it decays, but more importantly it gives you access to your abilities and full range. Excellent for chasing, retreating, or finishing someone off from a distance.
@possumwithacowboyhat514013 минут бұрын
In my opinion, you SHOULD be cancelling it early, and often. It allows exactly two swing combos, so six swings. There’s about 1 second at the end of the second combo where his last swing is finishing and the model is resetting. Cancel it as the last swing goes out and you get about a half second to a second back in your combo loops.

Happy that Coolguy is taking enough time to actually learn and play these characters to make detailed guides way better than generic guides. Only issue is it takes a while to get that playtime and I want more guides to watch sooner. Good problem to have!!!

mister fantastic and invisible woman are both about peel. if someone's on your tank? peel off from your team and go help them. if someone's on your flanker? peel off from your team and go help them. if someone's on your backline? peel off from your team and go help them. they both have incredible tools for it: mister fantastic's shield dash and pull, invisible woman's push/pull and projected barrier. no one on your team should ever lose a 1v1 because no one on your team should ever even be in a 1v1.

Coolguy! So glad you hopped over to Rivals. My favorite D2 creator by far! I've been having a great time, but man, your videos are by FAR the best in this game! How about a video on Cloak and Dagger or Scarlett Witch?
@96Logan8 сағат бұрын
Something I found out in the practice range, and I haven't googled anything about it so idk if someone else has figured it out or if it's semi useless.. But the brief window as soon as you get that 100 elasticity, you can go into your penguin stance. You retain the elasticity. It does not go away for some reason. Immediately after the penguin stance is done, Mr. Fantastic goes tank mode. I suppose it could be useful to stall if enemies are too far away and you don't want to enter tank stance right away. They see you hitting them, you pop penguin stance, and then they might think it's time to go in. Nope. Boom 800 tank mode when they least expect it.

Also, I just watched a Team Captain video before bed where he played Mr. Fantastic. I could have sworn that he even was able to use the E during that brief window. I am going to test it for myself tomorrow. I am 99% sure he got to 100 elastic and then yeeted himself towards the enemy before he transformed. That's even more impressive imo.

Here's a trick I learned from the rank 1 mr fantastic's gameplay : Whenever you're at 100 passive, right before you go into tank mode, you can shift. This won't lose you any passive stack and simply delay the transformation. This is very good for several reasons : - delaying cooldowns for the next combo - compared to using shift *after* tank mode, this allows you to burst down a target with the shift's damage THEN go into tank mode to finish them off. - when you shift people will stop focusing which gives you a couple microseconds of being into tank mode while not being focused by 6 people Shift is both mr fantastic's best defensive and offensive tool and this trick allows it to shine at doing both imo.

Infeel like Mr. Fantastic is majorly underrated right now. He does have some clunky mechanics with the time it takes to shift between his forms, but a well played Fantastic makes the whole team harder to deal with. Happy someone is actually breaking down his playstyle instead of just saying he’s bad or that he only works with two tanks.
Thank your for your service in shutting down the "Fantastic is a trash DPS" propaganda. It's true that he is a trash DPS, but that's because he is actually just a tank shoved into the Duelist category.

Mr fantastic should only be brawling with the tanks in order to bait out supports or dps to gank. He’s the perfect dps to dive with because he can both dive and anchor the point. If you latch onto a venom or hull when they’re moving, you go with them and way further. Also, ult in doorways or low clearings. Very quick slams

I feel like i find myself in situations where i just get focus fired down when i play in the front line before i can even do anything. Is it more about really focusing on staying with your tank and not extending out?
@CoolGuyGames12 сағат бұрын
correct. Play to them. When you double bump them shields, you are at 60 elasticity. 2 melees and the grab is 100. Then you brawl with them. Even though you take a ton, you get a ton of health. 350 to 500. then 500 to 950.

I was thinking of what the playstyle and being almost a buddy to the tank. A bit of a support to the tank, being able to displace annoyances like Wolverine, and also have some pseudo tanking abilities. Honestly I think if someone gets good at Mr. Fantastic, it might make a good comp with him being 132. 1 of the good tanks you can solo like Magento or Strange, 3 duelists including Mr. fantastic, and 2 strategists. I will definitely wait and see because I do see the vision in this.
@mrlolmw2Сағат бұрын
Just be super mindful when the enemy team has dive heavy comps. Sometimes giving the shields and cc to ur supports means life or death for them (esp against good Panthers, spidermen, magiks)
@victortayupe879413 сағат бұрын
I've done the exact same thing but instead I do auto into pull then double bump with auto in between, its almost the same but just realized is harder since the pull can miss whem you are farther away. Yeah Mr. F is pretty much an off tank and has more survivability than a thor or a captain america IMO 😅

I was wondering if you can do I guide for Namor, I’ve been playing him and he’s really good and alot of fun, you can have one of his sentries to help defend back line and healers while having his other help annoy the enemies as the tank goes in. His ult is also very powerful if used correctly, using your ult while having your squids out makes them automatically shoot at where the ult was and at any enemy hit by it. Also Luna on your team gives Namor a 3rd sentry that slows
@NemSumeragi4 сағат бұрын
For the combo section, I'd assume you could probably just do Basic Melee > Elongation after the pull to kill 275 heroes?
@lemonthevegetable50913 сағат бұрын
I like this guide a lot, but I think I can add on to things if you didn’t mention it (?) For starters, for Mr. Fantastic’s pull in, even if you miss you still get 30 elasticity. This is important because you can prep your elasticity in spawn or right before a fight. Also, when you go into your big form you need to know that you ARE a bigger target (funny enough you get a 20% movement speed boost) and you LOSE your abilities. Imo, you arguable have more survivability in your normal state. Mr. Fantastic is a jack off all trades master of none, you will feel like you’re not doing a lot sometimes and that’s okay. Mr. Fantastic is STAT monster but tbh that’s all he provides, just provides stats. But overall he is strong if played right. My tips are the moment you lose your overhealth in his elastic form cancel it rinse repeat.
