If you haven't tried Eddy Current since the rework, use it with voltshot on nation of beasts. feels incredible for any content where amplified is easy to keep up. Really solid option for a reload perk now, sad that sightline doesn't get it.

I really do appreciate these videos. While crafting is nice I find myself all too often just making “safe” or basic decisions when it comes to crafting because I’m lazy and don’t really put a lot of thought into things like synergies or what a new perk might be like. Seeing stuff like this makes me feel a little more at ease stepping out of my little comfort zone and trying something new

Not at all. Mag howl required precision. Precision instrument does not. It stacks on any damage, not just precision hits. I'll be honest, I'm still salty about them taking away mag howl. I really enjoyed it.

Strategist/Volt is a very strong combo for builds centered around class abilities. Ascension on Hunter, or even better the rocket backpack on Titan. If you're downing enemies with headshots, you will basically always have 6 rockets ready at the same moment you get your barricade or thruster back.

Genuinely have not seen anyone talking about air trigger much at all, much less air trigger/icarus dash, and air trigger/voltshot combos, which make perfect sense now that you highlight them. It really shows a mastery of your craft - you really know the ins and outs of this game. Thanks for the great ideas! Already loved this gun and now have a couple new rolls to try.

Imo keep away is a much better option than air trigger. You can use mods to up your reload speed and keep away is gonna give you that extra range 90% of your gunfights, which with a 180 is crucial to get consistent kills with them.

Yeah I’ve always thought precision instrument was a little over hyped. If you’re playing against a titan you’re almost guaranteed not to get the three tap. That’s already an entire class that can essentially render the perk useless. I personally run my warlock at 6 resilience on every build but a good number of people are at 5 or lower so I’d say there’s probably a 50/50 chance to three tap the average warlock. The only times I feel confident in getting a three tap is when I’m dueling a hunter

I wasnt going to craft this gun at all. But you showing how good air trigger has convinced me. Air trigger volt shot for pve. Im not usually a fan of reload type perks on hcs when i can get it on sidearms. Sidearms just reload way faster base but air trigger convinced me

I am a huge fan of field prep, and you opened my eyes to how air trigger is field preps airborne sibling. Sincerely hoping they put it on more heavy weapons, other than the Solstice rocket coming soon! With the changes to reserves and the reserve trick getting removed, air trigger and field prep are going way up in stock.

Something worth pointing out about the Keep Away / Precision instrument roll - I play on PC with Controller due to disabilities and I really struggle in both PVE and PVP with slower hand cannons (especially 120s); so having huge range & accuracy on a 180 HC just sounds perfect, gonna try it out now lol

after hearing the claim of best chaining hand cannon in the game, I really think you should give the Ikelos hand cannon another shot. I certainly don't disagree with survey taking the top spot, but with the many damage/ttk changes since it came out, the ikelos_HC with offhand strike and golden tricorn can now three tap any resilience after a kill, and with the origin trait refilling the mag you never have to reload, plus the obscene range and precision aim angle from offhand, all while avoiding the frustrating 180 ADS viewmodel after the first kill. worth a shot at least, it's been such a favorite of mine!

2x Surge mods let you 3 tap 10 resilience if using Precision Instrument, for 10, 15 or 30 sec depending on mods. An orb comes by easier than getting a kill with an 1 sec ttk weapon sometimes, when your 1v1 opponents most likely out ttk you and won't miss shots. Which was almost always the case when I brought Sightline Survey into sweaty lobbies or trials.

Agreed, the keep away + precision instrument was not bad but it's a total 50/50 on something you can't control. Might as well use a kill clip that ensures a 3 tap rather than gambling your way out the already overloaded pvp

I'm really enjoying it on Titan with a Hazardous Propulsion build. Arc means I can match surges with either Crux Termination or Grand Overture and with it being easy to land precision shots with, exodus rockets are loaded quickly. Using Strategist paired with Voltshot. Strategist is obvious, given the build, Voltshot is just a fun perk. I may switch out Voltshot when I take this build into the raid.

I love this hand cannon, I have a enhanced strategist and voltshot build, and it’s so fun to use, voltshot is great and I always have my class ability on Hunter, paired with the exotic chest piece to just spread jolt 24/7

Radiant guarantees the 3tap with precision. Pretty easy to get in 6s from orbs + artifact, and from hunter abilities.
