COOLING OFF 🥵 in the river after hand clearing our land

After spending the weekend paddling 20 miles down the river, we thought it'd be fun to work on clearing our land some more.
We spent a few hours chopping and raking the front of the property to prep it for campsites. While she raked, I bushwhacked more of the trail down to the water so we could cool off.
Clearing raw vacant land is a lot of hard work. But it'll pay off.
Then we spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing riverside and exploring the banks.
Every time I come to work on the property, I get more and more excited by its potential.
This time, I met the other neighbor. Also a super nice couple. Very friendly.
I love how private it feels down on the 'beach.' I can't wait to see what it becomes.

Hi Rudy. It’s the tannins from the leaves. In other words, the water is like a tea.

@@doanegarage So because many leaves fall into the river to settle, the river water is the color of tea, you mean that...?, surely the river water doesn't flow that fast...

Yep just like tea. Sometimes it moves pretty fast and it’s actually kinda low. It’ll rise 10-20ft or more
