THIS IS WHAT I CALL A BEAUTIFUL DIY PHONE CASE GOOD JOB GIRL
@CoolRiceBunnies11 жыл бұрын
Ahhh thank you so much! And yes, the cabochons are made out of polymer clay and I made them myself ^-^ I think it adds a lot of originality to the phone case (:
@pencroftonum11 жыл бұрын
i think it's so cool that you not only made decor, but you made those figurines yourself out of polimer clay, like full handmade, that is so so so cool!!!!!!!

Tips on improvement: -File your case with sandpaper or a nail file. This will prevent the silicon from peeling off your case after it has cured. -Pipe shells in a single column without a border. This will make your case look less messy. -Glaze the charms before using for decoden. This will prevent uneven spots in your case. -Use more cabochons. Also use tiny ones as fillers for space. Watch +TutorialsByA channel,she has some experience in decoden which may help. I hope this helped! No offense intended!

Would also suggest using 100% sillicone vs a mixture!
@beautifulsakura4ever9 жыл бұрын
Does the case you work on have to be soft or can I use a hard case? Also how do you glaze?
@lilyrhodes18689 жыл бұрын
beautifulsakura4ever Dont use a soft one for this, the bending of the case will make the silicone peel and ruin it! Always use a hard one :)

Hello kitty and rebellious in the same sentence. Awesome! :) It turned out really well. So cute!

About 2-3 days for it to dry to the touch. For it to become completely solid I let it sit for like a week.

So cute! I love the colours, the pastel theme is super nice. And i'm impressed with your cabochans too.

The case itself is not very heavy, heavier than the typical iphone case though. Once I put it on my iPhone 4S though, it seemed very heavy just because the phone itself has some weight to it.

I'm not sure where you can get it in the UK, but maybe check Hobby Craft or any craft store/book store that sells craft supplies? And my nail polish info is in the description box ^-^

turned out really pretty and I love the decorations you made! I think the sprinkle cookie is FAB!
@CoolRiceBunnies11 жыл бұрын
The cleanup was very easy! Since I used a plastic icing tip, the silicone just came right off when it was dried. But the only annoying part was picking up the small pieces of glitter and pearls that I dropped during the decorating process haha.

Wow to say this was your first it's so neat and tidy, I've been thinking bout decodenning a phone case for ages now n seen as last time I bedazzled one, i really hope my first case will turn out as nice as this

For the first time the piping was really really nice, liked it. I've seen people do it for some time and do it kinda sloppy. Nice cabochons too good job making them ! I just wonder if the camera worked properly with the case on, it kinda looked like it would cover a little bit the camera.

Hi lily :) I'm kind of new to decoder and I was wondering if the clean up was easy for like when your washing out the icing tip? Also I read the instructions and it said to have good Bengal
@mayamiranda677311 жыл бұрын
You can get it from your local craft store or online like ebay or etsy etc.. Also if you are going to your craft store, my favorite is Michael's because I think it has it at better quality, but you know.. Whatever you feel comfortable using! And it is really cheap: It's around 5-10 dollars so yea! Good Luck!
@alyxandriaang11 жыл бұрын
For your first time with deco-den, you actually did really well. I love your iphne case
@CoolRiceBunnies11 жыл бұрын
The pearls were really inexpensive; you can get a whole strand of them that has more than 20 for like $2, or even just a baggie of them. The glitter you can purchase for around $3 and the case was only $5. Rhinestones are also very cheap if they're just acrylic or plastic ones (: like $2-5 depending on where you buy it. I suggest you look at Amazon.com or etsy because they sell a lot of deco supplies in big quantities for a cheap price!

I have a little question, Im from the UK and we don't have DAP here. Ive used other silicone before and for some reason it doesn't stick to the surfaces, you then have to later on go back and glue it down. Did that happen with this?
@jamesbonds337710 жыл бұрын

I have a little question, I have many problems with the clean up, some of my Decoden cases are a mess, for some reason I use silicone makes dirt stick to it and turns a gray color, and it looks awful with this brand dirt sticks? or you use some fixing to varnish and protect? Thanks

I buy a lot of my supplies on online shops such as etsy stores or storenvy stores. But the majority of these items can be found at craft stores in England also; I've heard from my UK friends that they get their supplies from local book stores that sells craft supplies and a place called "Hobby Craft".
