Love you Cindy. I think it is art. You have to design, work on it, and fire. Finish the piece. Fabrication uses all kinds of tools ie Hydraulic Press, roller, patterns, etc. Some people make a mistake in thinking it is just production.

I did not know Silhouette exists. Can someone tell me if Silhouette cameo 4 can cut silverclay as well as Silhouette curio is not available any more? and with other clay brands? Thanks for the video anyway.

Hello, yes you can cut metal clay on the Cameo. The Curio is no longer available, but we will be carrying the Portrait soon, per Cindy Pope's recommendation. We will be sharing Cindy's work with the Portrait as well soon!

I have a SIlouette Portrait machine that is sitting in it's pretty case for years. I should sell it. It is too complicated for me. I think you have to be young. I find you go too fast for anyone just learning how to use the machine. Love everything else you do, not this howevr. Sorry. Eudice

Hello, we asked Cindy your question and she replied: The ones on the video don’t have a pattern except the little holes. The project video just got way to long with a pattern added. So the answer is Yes you can etch a pattern onto the earrings if she is interested in how it is done. I would refer her to my version 4 video class on craftcast. Hello, the final product is just like any other silver metal. The meal is waterproof, but just like any other silver it will tarnish over time. Hope this helps!

Great... this is a very smart use of technology, anyway fantastic, just a question regarding the firing procedure, when you firing the Earrings, the stone are in place or not? stone or glass are not damaged?

Hello, the stones are fired in place. These particular stones are cubic zirconia - amethyst. These stones can be fired at 1675°F / 913°C for 2 - 4 hours. Hi Kevin, both the Curio and Cricut work for precious metal clay. If you are interested in PMC specifically, we would recommend PMC Flex as you will need the flexibility. Hope this helps!
