Conquian is just another version of Rummy. Very popular with all the generations in Mexico. Ive seen 10yo boy swindle elderly men all the time.

This is how you play Conquien. Throw away the 8's 9's and 10's. you have ace to seven. and the face cards. This makes 40 cards. Two players. Play with NINE. win with TEN. each player gets nine cards. If you make something you have to throw a card away. starting the game is a card already flipped over from the shuffled deck after the players are dealt their cards. If you can't Make something you have to keep drawing. it's called 'eating" and you build up cards but you can also win fast this way. when you make something it goes into a meld pool on the table. you can win with the other person's meld pool if you have the winning card. ace can be used as an "eleven" on top of the king, but you can't build a two on it. the ace has to be on the end. not "queen king ace two" the best part about the game is coughing up the card. and eating. it's a fast game of FATE. it's also the tarot (zodiac.) heart is water. club is fire. diamond is earth. spade is air.

The Mexican version eliminates 8s and 9s from the deck so ladders go from 7-10-J.

Wait a minute if you don't have a discard when you spread when you go out. If all your cards are gone once you spread you still can go out. you don't have to have a card to go out in the middle on your last play. Just like if I pulled from the deck and my last card was a butt card I could hit somebody I don't have a card to throw in the middle

Sorry not sorry, the game is Called COON CANE, what your describing is rummy. Coon Cane is where you take out the 8s 9s and 10s of each suit, they're 52 switches in this game. Education time, this is a game played in the southern states, way before your time, your family took a game played by black people and rebranded and renamed it, almost the exact name given to it by the originator. Before put out context, make sure its accurate and not stolen material!

Nooo, coon can is as described in the video. Rummy 500 and Conquian are both different. These are three different games... with some similarities.
