The thing is even real steel double stack mags don’t work properly, so it is not the most viable EDIT: I didn't realize the guy was talking about the double stack mags that directly feed into the chamber and I thought they were talking about one of those double to single feed magazines, thanks for pointing out my mistake

Nerf is coming so close to doing something great with ultra. Great fire rate, beautiful design, and good ergonomics. But...terrible trigger and a new magazine that's far too small capacity for the gun's fire rate

if you're able to get extra magazines for this, i would love to see a 430-dart challenge with this blaster. knowing hasbro, the likely hood of that happening is slim, but it is still fun to think about! this would definitely be in the top 5 of the non-rival blasters easily!

This was my first reaction too, but at a twelve round capacity, he'd need 36 magazines. (one would only have two rounds loaded) I guarantee the sheer volume of reloads would drastically lower the time. Still, fingers crossed.

Stuff like this is what I want out of Ultra. When you're developing a whole new dart standard, you have the chance to do things like mags optimized for fast firing. I wish the Ultra line had more of that.

I wish they made the magazine bigger like 20 to 30 rounds because 12 rounds for something that fires this fast dumps the mags too fast and it’s not too effective if there isn’t a huge capacity.

Regular mags would slow it down. They would have to be designed after the proprietary mags in order to keep the speed I suspect

I played with one of these at a friend’s house and it’s great- we both loved the blaster! I mean it just feels amazing to shoot and play with- and it looks pretty great to boot, literally zero problems! The one downside is the proprietary magazine- it feels awful to have to load two mags after only shooting 24 darts, And the price isn’t that nice either 😆 I would wait until they either release more mags or sell them separately

I'd like to see these mags used in a Madsen LMG style blaster, or maybe a spiritual successor to the Dart Tag Quick 16 but this time with removable mags. I just think moving darts sideways is really neat. You could also probably create an electronic system to hit the latch on the magazine, which might be useful for some kind of double magazine single barrel flywheeler.

Im in love with this gunl it's basically a perses in dart dorm that's meant to completely mow down enemies, no matter how tanky some setups may be, I assume that this would be great for a scout or anti juggernaut setup!

Sunglasses to make sure you didn’t have to match eye line when talking to your CG elements, I’ve always appreciated all your more film maker elements that you bring into the videos. It’s a lot of extra effort that a lot of people won’t notice or care but it speaks volumes about your love of the craft and how much you care about what you do. You could really pump out subpar content if you wanted but you refuse to compromise your high production quality. 10/10.

ive always been disappointed with the "full auto" blasters because for me they always ended up jamming or feeling clunky. When i would see people modding the rapid strike to become an uzi it looked so smooth and awesome. This blaster i'm seriously considering buying! It looks so smooth and seemingly has a "mechanical" feel, and I can imagine holding 2 of these and just unloading 24 darts akimbo style :)

I think the reason of 1 side not being painted is 1, the hatch is where the ultra is. 2, as long as you're right handed, the blank side is facing the inside, so not a lot of people will see it, while the painted side is on the outside, so more people will see it

I had more than a few hang fires and jams when I first started using mine, but once I got used to the trigger mechanism I stopped having firing problems. The trigger is a bit touchy, but I found it pretty easy to get used to. YMMV, obviously.

I have one. It's a lot of fun. I wouldn't use it in a war but it's a riot to shoot around the house. Update: DO NOT leave your mags stored in the gun! It quickly weakens the spring that holds the darts in! I have to be very careful with the mag that was in the actual firing slot now. Any little bumps when it's fully loaded and I'm lucky if I don't lose my whole mag. Usually just one or two pop out but if it really gets a bump the whole mag will shoot out. Very annoying.
