The only thing I learned from you is “Drop that right elbow!” And that was 13 years ago and keeps me in the game. Thnx.

Hi Cooper you are 100 percent correct when you say that the Fibonacci Spiral absolutely exist in the golf swing. However it cannot occurs by simply folding and unfolded the right forearm vertically down as you say you are now doing. Why? Because as you have also said in past videos, it also needs to be created at the top of the golfer’s swing so that the downswing can mimic the same feelings one body moves as a child may be skipping a rounded smooth stone on top of the water. For right handed players you have shown us in the past that the Fibonacci Spiral must take place with turning our right hand, wrist and forearm clockwise as we execute our golf backswing. So we now see that Fibonacci Spiral in our golf swing can only take place by turning the handle of our club clockwise . So to be clear: In order to creat the Fibonacci Spiraling of the club at the top of our backswing; the handle of the club is the key we are turning clockwise right .. But isn’t there more to it then that? As for myself i simply do my one peace takeaway with turning of the club head clockwise and never deliberately reversing it counterclockwise at the top of my downswing. Turning the handle clockwise turns the club head clockwise; does it not? And so this one action get my body pivoting naturally as my footing is shifting to the right as well. The backswing is essentially done as Steve Elkington describes by turning the handle of his club clockwise with right index finger and thumb ( one not touching the other ) and also allowing my trail side scapula to glide inward towards my spine as I raise both my arms to the top of my backswing all the while maintaining my golf posture. From the top of my swing In order to shallow my club I then personally allow the Fibonacci Spiraling of my club head to continue by deliberately first rotating my trail rib cage pushing and rotating frontwards. This immediately brings my trail right elbow to my trail right side; shifts my weight to the lead side and creates the secondary tilting of my body to occur on my downswing until the follow through when the momentum of the club stands me up in my golf posture. Cheers PS as a reminder you also correctly said that the Fibonacci Spiral can be seen in nature as hurricane that can only turn clockwise or counterclockwise; but never both.

Thanks Cooper. Great video. I like the crossline swing concept.

Great stuff as always Cooper! Been using your methods for years. Would love to see you do a video discussing the same principals but with a Driver. Since modern Drivers are set up to be hit up on. It’s the only club in the bag designed that way. If I wasn’t still in Florida I would be seeing you in person still! 😁

Great video. Been working on this swing. Any suggestions on the driver swing. Can’t get the distance I was hoping. Thanks

Great video Cooper. I remain uncertain regarding the 'direction of swing'however - by cross line I assume you mean at 45degrees to your proposed flight path I.e.two dimensionally depicted by a line running from the ball back past the trail foot big toe and at 45 to the flight path - so you draw your trail hand up/down on that line. Is that correct??

I really like your videos and golf swing method . Would like to get a lesson sometime in the future . Any information about that would be appreciated.

Good flying wedges lesson. I'm rusty on my TGM. But I love the magic of the right forearm.

I can see some aspects of Peter Crokers teaching in this video. Given he was a great proponent of Tom Tomasello that could explain it.

I could hardly hear a word he was saying .... seems like a knowledgeable fellow. I'll bet he knows what happened to Tom Tomasello .

You are too smart for your own britches, Thomas, as you’ve likely studied Fibonacci more than I have lately. Elkington “rang the bell” on the downswing as well as anyone else through the ages, yet as he did, he rang it clockwise, and then like lightning, switched it, or let it switch into a seemingly effortless counterclockwise wicked corkscrew twister through that helpless ball! Well said!
