I think this video (and part 2) may be the holy grail of golf instruction videos. I have no idea how or why the KZbin algorithm spit up a 13 year old video into my feed, but I’m thanking the golfing gods.

Had the privilege and benefit of attending a two day seminar with Tom in Australia in the early 90’s… like many, have read everything from Hogan to Stack n Tilt and nothing compares to Tom’s teaching based on TGM… always revert to these three Lee Derrick lessons and my swing comes back to where I want it. Vale Tom, you are still a “living legend “ to me. 🙏

Tomasello was a great teacher of the golf swing. These last videos of his life were perhaps his greatest for the simplicity with which he taught the benefits of naturally unfolding the right forearm. Just brilliant!

I’ve seen this great man teach but I’ve never seen this greatness till now and it’s taken my breath away cause I’ve never seen it till now and it’s freaked me out. On a number of levels but mostly that how come you master or find things of greatness on the way out of this life rather than at the beginning. Thanks for this video part 1 and 2 life changing.

Simply amazed at how simple this lesson is on the golf swing. The "down and out" motion has completely changed how I swing the club. I'm glad I've found this video later in life because I would have been to young and stupid to appreciate its simplicity.

This chopping motion described revolutionized my swing in an hour. I've never hit the ball as long and solid...and every shot a draw. Looking forward to playing again and seeing the left side of the fairway for the first time ever. Thanks Tom ;)

this is a hitting motion according TGM that Tom is explaining. My question to those that get it, since he is sitting down. What he is saying is from the top of the backswing (for a right handed golfer) throw the forearm and then release the right wrist toward 2pm for example (if the ball is at 12 oclock.) I think that is what he saying but would really like to confirm.

What book/author is he quoting at just past the 5 minute mark?
