2005 Jeep liberty, window, regulator assembly

My problem is that my window died with it being completely closed up so once i removed everything on the door, there is no way for me to get the window regulator to clip it open to release the window manually. What do i do

So sorry for the slow reply just figured out where all my comments are for replacing the regulator you can cut. The cable in the window will move up and down freely.

But HOW DO YOU REPLACE THE WINDOW? mine shattered and for the life of me I can't get the new one in the door I even took out the regulator

K I figured it out. You CANNOT get the new window glass in the door if you have one of those AVS rain guards on the door. You must remove that first then it goes in easily from the outside flat against the door. Ughhh gotta buy a new rain guard now

I’m glad you found it sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner but yes usually you tilt the world go to the side and pull it out. At the door to the outside part of the car
