CooperVision has expanded its New York distribution facility to meet the escalating global demand for its contact lenses.
The West Henrietta packaging and distribution center has undergone a huge expansion and renovation that increased the building by more than 50%. The project added innovative upgrades in the technologies used for packaging, storage, and order picking, as well as an updated warehouse management system.
The now 400,000 sq. ft. facility has instituted efficiencies that have resulted in faster, safer, and more precision. The improvements result in distribution of over a billion lenses annually across the globe.1
CooperVision's committed to workforce health and safety and sustainability is also evident. The West Henrietta site is LEED(r) Silver certified for its enviornmentally conscious design and operation*2, and is powered by 100% renewable energy.3
