Thanks so much for the informtive lesson. I have one question tho. I have noticed that, native speaker, when they say something like "last year, it sounds like 'like lasht year when they say somting "straight" it sounds like sh-traight i mean there is a "sh" aound appear instad of the "s" sound is there any rule for that?? i know that there is a rule that when you say the letter "t" following by "R" you ad the sh sounds in betwwen? Looking forward to your answer Thanks.

I'm sorry, I do not know a rule for this. I have not noticed this before. Maybe it depends on where the speaker is from. There are many accents in the United States in different parts of the country. Maybe this is an accent I have not heard.
