This is is a most valuable lesson on how to pronounce the voiced 'th' and voiceless 'th' . After your lesson, now I can confidently pronounce the words with 'th' in it. Over the years, through many lessons learnt, I was told to position the tongue tip passing upper and lower teeth to pronounce these words and as a result, I ended up pronouncing the 'th' words awkwardly and incorrectly . I didn't know one is voiceless and one is voice. Through your the step-by-step in your lesson, I have learned to position the tip of the tongue correctly and now I am able to to say the 'th' words with confidence. Hi there, this video is extraordinary helpful like all your videos, but I have a question. What about when the "th" is follow by "s" like "months" or "bath's"?

Hi. That's a good question. We often, but not always, simplify t-h-s. A good example is with the word 'clothes.' Instead of pronouncing the full t-h-s, we just pronounce a z sound, /z/, like 'cloze.' With the word 'months' we often only pronounce a reduced t sound, /t/, for the t-h like 'monts.' I would not reduce 'baths' in this way, but other people might. In general, you can reduce or eliminate the t-h, but you should not eliminate the final 's.' Remember, the final 's' can sound like /s/ or /z/.
