Hi. Thank you for watching my video. I'm sorry the sentences were too fast. Maybe changing the speed in KZbin would help. To change the speed, go to Settings at the bottom of the video. Then choose Playback speed. To slow down the video, choose .75, .50, or .25. I hope that helps.

I love your teaching and videos. I don't know why the "a" in some words sounds like "a" and "e" in between such as Ban, ran, clan, chance.......but the "a" sounds exactly "a" in some other words such as cat, hat, fat, mad....vv? Does anyone notice the differences?

my dear, please say to me what letter does it cause 'sing' join 'er' in the word of singer? is it the light 'g' or 'n' or another letter? thank you so much. I didn't understood.
@Coopos
@Coopos 3 жыл бұрын
Hi. I'm sorry my video was confusing. There is not a light 'g' and there is not a hard 'g' and there is not an 'n' in 'singer.' The letters n+g in 'singer' make a different sound. They make /ŋ/. It sounds almost like 'g' but it is not 'g'. I try to describe the sound in the beginning of the video. Good luck! Sorry for the confusion!

So, do you pronounce a light /g/ at the end of (sing) for instance? Or am I imagining wrong pronounciation sound?
@Coopos

Hi. No, you do not pronounce a light 'g' at the end of 'sing.' The sound at the end of 'sing' is /ŋ/. I try to describe it at the beginning of the video. There is no 'g' sound in 'sing.' Sorry for the confusion.
