This seems the only trustworthy way to get answers so far, so; could you tell me how much lower it can get the temperature of the water? And does it suck up the water, cool it down and release it again or something entirely different? Sorry for bothering you with this, mate but I'm at a loss smh

@@quintenvandesande228 This device literally just has pipes running through it that you slowly pump water through from your tank. The fan blows over the pipes and slightly cools the water inside them. It’s literally the same effect as pointing a fan at the water surface, but because it’s a cute little box that looks somewhat like a REAL aquarium chiller people who don’t know any better expect it to work miracles.

Absolutely Not ... for this size you would need 10 of them. For this size look for a compressor chiller.

Guys, if this is too complex for you just buy an Inkbird temperature controller and a small desk fan. Plug the fan into the cooling outlet on the controller, mount the fan on the rim of the tank pointing at the water surface, then set the desired temperature on the controller. Done. I guarantee the method I’ve just described is going to be more effective than this thing. The Inkbird even has a manual. In English! They basically hold your hand through the entire set up process! If you don’t have an airconditioner or you just live in a very hot climate, get a REAL aquarium chiller. This will mean shelling out several hundred dollars. You will not get a big temperature drop from a $50 piece of equipment like this.
